I'm a newcomer to the Android scene, only have a couple of games...

I really enjoy Dropwords, the only trouble is, I regularly get 3000pts in normal mode, but can't get higher as the timer always runs out...

When I look at the leaderboards online, the score are just crazy...

Anyone got any tips to help me improve scores?

Oh, and Angry birds is a decent game too.

Mine works perfectly, I haven't even had to adjust any settings in CF3D.

Hrm, so you just selected the nvidia plugin and the version off the market works ok? What Rom are you using?

Trial Xtreme. More levels were added about 2 weeks ago. Great game.

So true, I love it.

Also; DRisk is a well styled Risk game.
Apparatus is a fantastic Incredible Machine style puzzler.

Cheers for the list Rich. I just got an Eee Pad so have been wondering which are the best games. Only played Angry Birds and Galaxy on Fire 2 (not very keen on that) so far. I like the look of Samurai II.

Anyone know of any free racing games that are made for the Tegra machines?

Riptide is fantastic . Not free, but there is a demo for it

I couldn't get the demo to work on my Galaxy S2 because the shader mod was built for the full game, took a risk and bought it and it is so much fun

I think it's because the APK download is too large for the Desire/Galaxy S1

It's great, but it will drain your battery like mad as it's not optimised for the SGS2 (made mine red hot too!). Shame it has limited replay value, second playthrough saw me top everything pretty easily.

OP i think it would be good if you started a list. have free games and paid for games in the lists with a link to them so people dont have to find them and can just download them
