Watch out for Great Little War Game. Originally an IOS game, it's due soon for Android (I'm currently beta testing it) and it's a fantastic little turn based strategy thing that doesn't take itself very seriously.

A few installed on my phone:

Coin Pirates - Simple coin push style game, mrs loves it.
Contract Killer - Typical GLU game, it's ok but I found the controls really really fidgety.
Empire Online - Typical asian style mmorpg with cutesy 2D graphics. Only just started playing this a couple of days ago so can't really comment so far, apart from some dodgy translations.
Glyder 2 - Again it's another GLU game - fly about and collect stuff, bit meh.
GT Free - Installed it but keep forgetting to free space up to get the install fieles (800mb!). Looks like it's at least worth a try and even includes a realy track in Laguna Seca :)
Haypi Kingdom - Typical style empire building game, nice to check every few hours.
Inotia 3 - Nice JRPG - Played a couple of hours on this and it's pretty awesome, highly recommend this one, one gripe with it is very limited inventory space, argh!
Mega Jump - Cutesy game where you tilt your phone to collect items that bounce you higher and higher.
Star Legends - From the same developers as Pocket Legends, it's a 3D mmorpg. Again only played this for a few hours so far but it's pretty damn cool for a phone game. Do watch out though this REALLY saps the battery. Oh and it's free but pretty much every extra is paid for in real cash. I haven't played enough of it to find out if thats too much of an annoyance yet.
Star Blitz - and another GLU game :D it's essentially Gun Bros in space.

A couple that I've installed and haven't got round to playing yet:

Warspear - 2D online RPG
World of Dragons - Same as above
The infinite black - Eve style game from what I can see
Sea empire - A RTS with pirate theme, actually may try this one right now, always liked the idea of a RTS on me phone
Shadow Era - Card based game, downloaded it because the art looks good, don't know how to play these type games though!

All the above games are free btw.

@Electroshadow - Do you have a link to vendetta? I can't find it!

Great Little Wargame
Sprinkle
Wheres my water?

all taking up my time at the moment... Sprinkle being particually excellent / challanging (getting 5 drips on all levels took some time but wasnt mind numbingly frustrating like doing the same on angry birds ^^)

Get you some Elder Sign: Omens. It's a slightly cut-down version of the Cthulhu-themed board game from Fantasy Flight. Great graphics - the hi-res tablet graphics will work on an S2 - and sound, lots of variety in game setup due to the 16 Investigators with their unique special abilities, and on top of which it's really simple to learn.

The game content files also indicate that it will (eventually) be expanded into a full version of the game with Allies, all Ancient Ones (the base game only has Azathoth) and the Final Combat sub-game. Worth £3.50 of anyone's money.

It's about time that Android starts getting some of the board game conversions. iOS is so far ahead in that area it's ridiculous, and they suit mobile touch screen gaming perfectly.

Now if we could just get the iOS versions of Carcasonne and Ascension ported over, that would be a good start.

Did surprisingly well on my first attempt, 1300 points, but had no idea what I was supposed to be doing so it was all luck.

Second attempt only 900 with 2 peeps going insane. Good time-waster, if a bit frustrating.

It helps if you know what symbols are available on which glyph.

GREEN: 1, 2, 3 Investigation marks, Terror, Peril, Lore
YELLOW: 1, 2, 3, 4 Investigation marks, Peril, Lore
RED: 2, 3, 4 Investigation marks, Peril, Lore, Wild Card

You can also click on the name of an adventure to see all its requirements before you take it on.

For a beginner, I'd suggest taking as your team Jenny, Harvey (or Michael), Darrell and Amanda. Jenny is good for anything so long as she can keep a Clue or item in her inventory - and with one Trophy she can buy a Clue at the Souvenir Shop. Harvey and Michael can get rid of Terror symbols to avoid triggering Terror penalties when you re-roll, and their abilities also make solving adventures and killing monsters easier - I prefer Harvey as there are some nasty adventures which need multiple Lore symbols, but Michael's better for killing monsters as that more often requires Peril. Darrell is your go-to guy for adventures that need a lot of Investigation marks, and Amanda gets half a Clue for free once each turn.
