The Apprentice 2022 - starts 6th Jan 2100 BBC1

The moment he said "Katherine, I've started businesses like yours from scratch", I knew Harpreet had won. He's been on a real dramatic swing all season, baiting people into thinking he's going one way, when he's going another ("you did X, and for that reason... I'm torn"). The moment Katherine got the last word, I knew it was over for her.

Katherine could've won if she said she was building local, and could change designs on the fly like the shop Zara. I really like the jungle print, but I'm not trendy enough to know it's out of fashion. She shouldn't have doubled down on it.

I've bought sweet treats from companies like Harpreet's that no longer sell anything, because they're one-off niche purchases.

I noticed he also didn’t officially fire Kathryn after announcing the winner. Usually he announces the person who he will hire then inform the loser they’re fired…

Speaking of fake drama, any watchers of Dragons' Den tired of the manufactured conflict between Steven Bartlett and Touker Suleyman every episode?

Peter and Deborah are usually the most "photogenic", so they're really pushing this subplot to reduce their airtime, diversifying from their 2 biggest personas.

yes just as much of a car crash as the apprentice, the scheduling of one after the other is interesting - I now watch neither :
there is a good parallel between the fake oneupmanship on the DD board and between apprentice candidates , but why evan davis wants to continue to tar his name with DD.

Her shop is a couple of miles from me...meh is my rating.

The way it seemed to be portrayed, with her making the pancakes in the house etc was that it was all done by them in the shop.

Didn't reveal until the very last boardroom session, unless I missed it earlier, that the goods are made by a supplier and brought into store.

All those sorts of places filled with bros with their leased 1 series parked on double yellows out front are all generally meh.

I believe they do. She is there often to be fair to her but it’s over priced and not the best
