The Apprentice 2022 - starts 6th Jan 2100 BBC1

Kathryn has got to be the favourite. Harpreet a close second.

Britanny isn’t challenging for QI but seems “ok”.

Stephanie just comes across as a moron, with a resting bitch face.

Was surprised that Aaron got canned tbh.

The bit last night when they were discussing how she responds to critiscism with "thanks, I'll take that onboard for next time" and then they brought them back in and critiscised her and she said exactly that

I actually think Harpreet might win, seems relatively competent, but at the end of the day the "best" business will win, even if the plan is awful.

All about the business proposal , If sugar don’t like it you ain’t going to get 250k based on how much of a superstar you’ve been In the process - or bafoon for that matter .

Candidates over the last 2 years have been Terrible .

My wife watches “Apprentice” religiously and then face times my daughter-in-law to talk about, DIL is a fan too.
I couldn’t keep a straight face when my wife said that my DIL said, “Jean’s chauvinistic son (my wife is not his mother), said that all four finalists appear savvy and driven, but if it comes down to looks, Harpreet will smash it, with Kathryn a close second, the other two may as well not show up.”
I thought, ‘Christ, now I’m in the doo-doo, and I haven’t said a word.’

So is this kathryn girl adopted, a throwback, a chance encounter of the wife and the millkman or what? Both parents couldn't be whiter if they were dipped In emulsion.

Shiny face girl is gone. Who buys Gucci baby clothes 2nd hand, but also cares deeply about authenticity? Kids can shop at Shoezone till their feet stop growing.

how she responds to critiscism with "thanks, I'll take that onboard for next time"
She was probably bullied at work, and told to say that instead of "sorry" as a way of standing up for herself.

I don’t know one from the other but my wife said that adoption is an absolute lock.

Is that relevant in any way whatsoever?

Just watched the interviews, I don't think any of those businesses are worth investing in except perhaps the dessert one but then he has the whole sister thing to deal with.

All 4 business plans are appalling. You can tell Lord Sugar doesnt really want to invest in any of them.

How they got selected for this show is beyond me.

I feel a bit sorry for Brittany. With that utterly ridiculous buisness plan, she was setup to fail if she reached the interview stage.

But all of the plans were not great. Catherine and Harpreet's were the most viable, with a bit of tweaking. Without the sister situation, I think Harpreet would be the front runner.

They're all shocking.

Stephanie - there's 'n' 2nd hand marketplaces around, okay you want to go designer the cost of a 3rd party authenticating would surely be massive.

Brittany - just what?!

Kathryn - there's nothing unique about the products or premise of her clothing lines.

Harpreet - Within a mile radius of my house there's multiple Desert Lab, Waffle Project, Dolche Deserts, Waffilicious, Desert Box etc shops. The market is absolutely rammed full of them.

I can't see LordSirAlan going for a pyjama business that is guaranteed to lose the investment within the first 2 years. Equally, I can't see him investing in to a business where the sister is basically an operations manager doing all the leg work

Part of me wonders why Harpreet didn't sort out the sister situation before going on the show or agree to have something firm in writing that she could have used in the interviews. I realise she said that she's spoken to her sister who's agreed to step aside but going in to the final with that promise hanging over her head has all but ruined her chances.

Kathryn needs to think about how she can build the business without needing such a large investment or relying on supply chain constraints from China. It's like she wrote down a business plan and sat there thinking "now all I need is £250k and I'm good!" and "...but everyone orders from China ermergerd!". It was priceless when they whipped out clones of her 'designs' in the interviews meaning that she is effectively operating a drop-ship business.

Brittany would have walked this if her business plan was hotelier-related as he/they seemed to be impressed with her drive and achievements.
