*** The Apprentice 6 ***

Funny how half of you lot wanted to bone Laura by episode two and two months later she is public enemy no. 1 :D

Jamie or Chris next to go.

wat? Stuart has had his cards marked for ages - if he gets so much as a whiff of the boardroom he'll be gone! The same was true of Laura which is why she went - at this stage the task is pretty much irrelevant as Lord Sugar decides on their whole performance to date.

I thought Stella was a goner but Laura's time was definitely up.

Good bit of cat fighting at the end - Stella seriously lacks some personality.

Liz and Joanna are the favourites I'd imagine.

lol how on earth did they win

Exactly my thoughts. The most hilarious conclusion to a competition though. You could actually see the shockwaves rippling over the boardroom and through the girls when they found out they had lost to a bunch of idiots! Great stuff! Great TV!

Im surprised the girls came so close to winning, the prices the guys paid for the items easily made up for the £150 fine and the girls got fined for returning late, on top of that I expect the paid at least list price for the items the guys didn't get.

Gotta love the humour Sir Alan comes up with week in week out, "You and your jokes, have you opened your christmas crackers early this year or something?" LOL

Each team was doing a different task. The girls were doing the "find the really obscure stuff" task, and they did really well at it by being organised, making calls, etc. The lads were doing the "pay as little as humanly possible for stuff" and did well at that by lying through their teeth.

I know who I'd rather have...

I'd rather have people that were organised AND paid as little as possible. Neother team was great but this task, quite rightly imo, placed more weight with negotiating skills than who can find what like some kind of Christmas party game.

The next to go will be Joanna or Stuart, Joanna if pushed. Stuart Baggs was hilarious last night though and if I'm honest, some part of me is warming to him. Though he's still a piece of work.

All well and good, but you want Jamie for his negotiating i.e. "forget the guarantee and give me the sewing machine for £30" or whatever. Chris and Stuart's absurd lying about their aunt or whatever isn't going to get you far in the real world.

Part of me wonders how much effect the cameras have on things like that. When some berk is in your face spinning a yarn about his aunt, and can you sell him something at an absurdly low price, and there's a camera on you, you're probably just wondering which clip show you're gonna be on and trying to get them out asap.

They won, but not by using any of the appropriate skills. They may as well have walked in and nicked the stuff.

agree

the stories that he was telling was too OTT

i know they "seemed to work" but not really what you want working in your organization

"im sorry i couldn't come in to work today, my uncles cat got stuck in the washing machine and i had to take it to the vets"
