The Apprentice

nicely summed up callmeBadger.

I like Ansell but I still feel like he needs to show more - I don't think he had any real pressure as yet - unless they just haven't shown it or he just copes really well.

I see it coming down to Paul & Ruth - they have both been consistently good show after show.

that coat-stand thing - what a crock!

His team managed to secure 4 retailers, this was said in the meeting room. Paul had managed to secure 2 deals, Sharon was given one to secure, meaning that Saeed and Tuan managed just the one deal in the entire day.

Are you sure? I thought it Syed and Tuan got four sales themselves. They definately got more than one (the one with that guy who buys 10 and then the big sale.)

Cant believe syed went straight to the main players, even when Sir Alan told him he was wasting his time! Such an idiot thinking he knows better.

I can't believe that none of the others pulled him up for his blatant lies regarding the accident. Sir Alan knew but I reckon it was up to them to raise the point to save their own skins.

Weekly bump. Episode 9 is about to start over on BBC2

Keeping it real (estate)

The candidates take to the streets with hard hats in week nine, letting out flats in south London.

A great part of Sir Alan's success can be attributed to his investment in property and this week, he gives the remaining six candidates a taste of the real estate market by tasking them with letting flats in south London.

Invicta and Velocity will gain a commission from each successful letting and as always, the team with the most commission will win the task and receive a special treat from Sir Alan.

Working as letting agents will test the would-be apprentices' presentation, negotiation and selling skills, and Sir Alan will be keeping a close eye on both individual performance as well as team effort.

As they pound the pavements, trying to push the right buttons and close deals, you'll have to just wait and see which candidate is going to have the rug pulled out from under them this week...

Looking forward to this episode. Should be good. However, I look forward to every episode.

Note Saeed high fiving the couple when the deal was done!

The badger is indeed good and looks to be a prime contender for the apprentice.

"Don't point your finger at me" says Saeed, while almost poking Dunn.

:p

"You see, Sir Alan..."
"Bye!" :p

Ruth was indeed quite impressive in this weeks task. I guess the sort of agressive sales environment suits her personality. That "here I go again on my own" car scene made her out to be her usual cocky, over-confident self though. I must admit, Syed didn't seem at all bad this week, but his board room attitude was a bit... off. I get the feeling Sir Alan likes him though, and I think he has a good chance.

PS. It's Tuan ;)

Tuan had it from the start, showed no commitment to winning the task!

Syed messed up a bit, but I reckon he's a winner.

Ruth did absolutely great! still annoying as hell though

Shame Tuan didnt live up to the expectations he made himself on the previous task. He was very weak, didnt really show his enthusiasm, and was running out of things to say in the board room.

Im unsure about syed but his nose is about as brown as it gets, and the fact he is a right plank thinking that small bridge was wandsworth bridge  wake up syed.

Ruth shes cocky, and loves herself, but must admit she did well in that task, she knew she was going to walk into that board room and be safe.

Tuan was always going to go though.

Syed a winner???

Sorry, but he's full of s***, constantly waving his own willy, cutting accross people, and clearly thinks he is in the same league as Ruth, Paul etc.

God knows how he lied his way onto the show in the first place.

I would be money that Sir Alan does not like him.
