The Apprentice

Did she leave? Oops, then it might be once bitten, twice shy.
Yeah she definitely did leave. Left to set up her own consultancy business I think. She was a consultant off-shorer before? Not sure I've written the job title properly.:p

I've always wondered given she was self-employed contractor anyway, why she would want to work for someone else? It seems, for publicity...

I think the smart money might be on Lohit. He does the job, never whinges and is probably the most reserved from all the candidates.

But I agree with the general consus, Katie will end up getting owned big time. But I did chuckle when SAS kept refering to him as Captain Mannering......

Lohit will face the Ansell problem - nice guy, does what he does well but doesn't stand out and doesn't shine. No killer instinct and nothing to differentiate him from a million other people who could do the job.

Although at present, a bog standard applicant would be a cut above the rest who seem to be slightly less able than most sixth form students.

Back on topic, I don't think Tre will get there. I reckon Simon/Naomi are the ones I can see going for the final.
Yep, agree with you here. Would have voted for Tre but can see him getting down to the final 3 or 4 then getting the old heave ho. Agree with the chap who said about him being similar to Sayed last year but think that Tre is more likeable.

Agree with this too. I think that with a bit more 'get up and go' Lohit could have been a big contender but I reckon he's far to quiet and doesn't impose himself enough to win this competition.

i reckon tre will win. he is arrogant, but out of the bunch he is pretty much the best salesman i reckon. him and that girl who ratted out katy will make final.

as for katy, i hate her guts. makes my guts churn when i see her face, when she smiles. *shudder* she looks like a donkey.

I'm glad Gazelle has gone, all she managed to do was bitch about the other people and not offer any constructiveness, she was narrow minded and just not very good. Next to go will hopefully be Katie, she makes me cringe.

Trey has got his head screwed on right, but he needs to control his mood sometimes.

Yep. Yep. And yep. Can't argue with any of your statements.

Katie really really has to go and very very soon.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Naomi wears for the next Boardroom showdown. Talk about showing off your business assets. ;)

Ghazal was up for the boot the moment they lost the task. Forgone conclusion. Good episode though.

Did anyone watching tonights episode on Freeview experience any popping on the sound on BBC1 and then on BBC2 for the follow up program?

I thought it was my TV but every other channel was fine. I recall last week or the week before the sound was iffy (as if the tv was set to Statium or Hall presets) on the Apprentice's BBC2 show. Maybe my TV doesn't like it

I didn't notice anything here.

I hate myself for it but I really am starting to like and appriciate how Tre thinks...

I know what you mean. He started off a bit of a joke, but he's now a serious contender (and a winning one at that).

Albeit coming out with some classic Tre-isms. :D

Is Tre capable of talking about himself in the first person?

Also, I'm so glad Gazelle got the boot mainly because her accent irritates me. It is far from natural Glaswegian - it's the bastardised version that the Indian and Pakistani imigrants in the city seem to have created.
