The Apprentice

RP based on your previously correct prediction I've been drawing people at work into bets on the winner. If your right I owe you a drink or two :D

I wanted Katie to win. Shame about her 'personal' problems.

What I want to know is why go on the show and go all that way, if you haven't explored the possibility of what you'd do if you won?

What did she expect, that Sugar would let her work from home?

And sorry to be judgemental but christ that woman is ugly.

The show was rigged :p

The sceptic in me believes that somewhere along the line, before Kate quit in the board room, she had decided to go. However, the production team obviously thought it would make good TV if she got in the final 3 knowing she was through only to surrender. I found it to be all too dramatic and convenient but good anyway.

I said the exact same thing as soon as she said she wasn't sure, she's gunna turn him down and 'leave'

how in hells name do you get that far and be all organised and stuff for business but never get around to confirming living / travel / moving arrangements?

I said all of that about 2 pages ago!!!
Loads of people know who is in the final, but they just keep schtum. I had heard a rumour about how Christina is getting on in her stint in Sir Alan's company ,but it's a bit spoilerish I reckon.

STOP HINTING. No more from you. I don't wanna hear a word. :D

I think Katie wanted to get to the final to get better bankability so that she can be 'the one who turned down Sugar'.

It was said several weeks ago by someone who knew her that she had no intentions of taking the job if she were to get it.

The way it worked was that she doesn't take the job, but she wasn't fired - and as neither of the other two had been chosen at that point, she can claim that it's because of her that either of them are in there. She knows she could have had the job but she chose not to take it - therefore taking the shine off both Simon and Christina.

She's a relentless and inpersonable moose who uses her minimal 'feminine charms' (for that read: does impressions of a sleepy bovine and thinks it's sexy) to get what she wants - and I'm glad she's gone. I hope I never have to look at her ugly mug again.

Definitely scripted as has been said.

What I can't understand is why people actually think Katie was talented or had any potential. She didn't deliver in any of the tasks, she just sat there smiling and attempting to make witty put-downs. She didn't show any creativity, often getting completely the wrong end of the stick. She was utterly rubbish.

Then add to that the fact that she is PROUD to be a home-wrecker and you've got someone who is completely unemployable. The interviewer who likes academics said as much, he completely saw through her. All talk, no action.

Kristina seems infinitely more competant than Simon who looks defeated and pathetic.

The interesting point though is that AS had a very high opinion of Katie. So much so he effectively asked her the question, "Do you want the job? If yes, its yours. If no, then tell me now so I can give it to a lesser candidate, who at least wants it."

Personally though, after seeing the performance of the candidates over the last few weeks, I wouldve chosen Christina over Katie. At least with Christina you know what you are getting - a dedicated hard worker who wants to the job, is likely to stay with the company and is desperate to succeed and impress. If I wanted to take a gamble, I wouldve gone with Simon.

I am friends with Rory.. I know who wins;)

I love this series but the last episode is usally the best as you can see the bitterness and hatred they all had for each other (under wraps) come out.

I'm glad SAS doesn't make his decision based on the final task as it's the luck of the draw as to your teammates.

This years surprise camper was Lohit. Managed to camp his way to 5th place.

Still I'm sure he could get a job working for that TV company he was by far the best presenter for that show.

It was looking like christina and simon for weeks now. I thought simon had blown it last week but you knew he was in the final 2 when SAS saved him from what should have been an early exit. The TV sales task was an unmitigated disaster (worse than the selling cheese to the french) imho :o

Kristina wins for sure, unless you mucks up the task totally.

As for Rory, I kinda feel sorry for you :p He doesn't come across to well on the show with "I am your boss" rubbish. :p

"You're nothing to me!" Best exchange of the series. :D

It doesn't really matter who wins the final task, does it? I thought the Badger won the task last year, but Michelle still conned Sir Alan 'No one's gonna make a fool out of me' Sugar.

Kristina must win though, surely. Simon looks like a lost schoolboy at times.
