The Apprentice

I thought it was rubbish. The pool of talent they have recruited is poor. Are these suppose to be the brightest? I doubt it. Anyone with any talent would know not to work for Amstrad and the cheesey faced Sugar.

I cant see all this doing Sugar any favourites. Series 2 didnt exactly work out in his favour after michelle left to have a baby (which didnt happen) and then started her own business.

Alan is getting a bit boring now. They should have asked some other self-made man/women to take his position. richard Branson would be a great candidate but i doubt he would be interested in this publicity and entertainment stunt that is the Apprentice

You sir are taking this way too seriously.

It's about having a laugh at people blundering through tasks and bitching at each other.

Also is the US one on UK TV? Can I download it somewhere. I perfer the american one as well.

Still dont know what the Quantum Physist was thinking with 200 litres of milk, lol

I really didn't like the way she introduced herself to everyone as a "quantum physicist" trying to big herself up... she's a mathematician using various different methods of approximation at the end of the day.

She didn't seem switched on in the task at all.

Yeah but they ARE supposed to be experienced. The premise is that they are the "best" business minds in Britain...which obviously can't be supported with that kind of starting salary.

The trouble is, the best business minds in Britain are already earning fantastic amounts (especially in London), or they're out there running their own business doing it for themselves. These people have quit their jobs to be on The Apprentice, so they can't have been doing that well to warrant quitting and gambling on a £100k salary.

Why do the contestants always seem to have a major social (especially arrogance) problems?

"You should fire her instead, I am the apprentice!!"

"Is there anything I can say to change your mind?"

Those two boys and the women with an ego the size of the moon arguing like little children.

That same women interrupting 'Sugar constantly in the board room.

he shouldn't have been fired but it was his own fault.

I would have taken the two "londoners" into the board room and let them point the finger at each other. He instead allowed them to point the finger at him.

The woman who overbought really should have gone.

I roffled when she stated 200 liters of milk god help our quantum pc aspirations :p

Because more confrontations makes for better TV.

Exactly. This show is more for entertainment purposes, rather than an insight into the business world I think.

I couldn't finish watching it last night, such an awful show like the rest of that reality tv rubbish. Some arrogant contestants need brought down to size, especially the woman leading the team of men, what an idiot!

I'd rather watch Dragons Den anyday! No chance I'll be watching this again.

It's frustrating watching clueless idiots blunder around London and then meet the same old rehearsed rhetoric in The Boardroom.

I half-watched it.

Sigh :(

tend to agree it felt a bit stale to me, next weeks task looks very similar to last years cat calendar

Most tube stations (especially those in central London) all have coffee shops nearby/adjacent to the entrance/exit of the tube station. That said, they did try and sell coffee right next to a cafe, which were selling the same product, cheaper. So, given this, they couldve placed the coffee cart next to a tube station.

You are saying that the last season didn't work out well for him but how much does he make (if any) by making the TV programme?

Just watched this, the people that bang on about "business world" and all that rubbish do my head in. Real business is nothing like that at all.
