The Apprentice

Oi! Thats my mate!

But yeh he did get quite bossy, he tends to sometimes, but we just tell him to shut up if if does. He is a good guy really. Whereas Trey is a utter NO SWEARING

Indeed. I think Trey shouldve gone instead, however, Trey is good TV, hence, he will be kept in the show for as long as can be possibly managed. If there was no Trey, the show would have been extraordinarily boring.

Trey is keeping the show alive single handedly, in the absence of the usual infighting that normally afflicts the female teams.

I actually think that Tre (I think thats his name), is very very annoying to manage. He lacks tact and the ability to get his point across elloquently and always becomes aggressive and rude.
Yeah I agree with you on that. He may or may not have good business ideas but treating everyone as if they are inferior and need him to shout at them to get his ideas over isn't going to work. Surely if he carries this on, he'll be sidelined by his team?

Normally Sir Alan annoys me, but I think with the bumbling fools he's got this series it makes him look much better. He's gone up a little in my eyes.

His rambo comment, had me laughing :p
I beat Sir Alan to that Rambo comment. Been on MSN with a mate watching tonights episode and I said how the belt was "Rambo-esque". Hire ME Sir Alan.:D

Totally agree, but Trey will be sacked in the not to future distance, he just can't help but talk over people even Sir Alan.
"You are on pause for the moment"
"Sorry, I'll rewind" :D

Tre does come across as a very confrontational and aggresive character, but he strikes me as the kind of person who would get things done — much like Ruth Badger in the last series. During the fiasco at the designers, for example, at least he was trying to do something. Agreeing rather amicably with Sir Alan at the beginning of the boardroom process that he did not agree with the direction they went in, I thought he really had Rory cornered at that point.

I was rather impressed last week during the coffee challenge when he had a confrontation with Jadine and decided to walk away rather than exacerbate the situation. I'd argue that Jadine is a more irritating person — "CLIPS! ECLIPSE! E-CLIPS!" — and with a bit of work Tre could well be the apprentice :)

True, I think Rory would have been good too - a bit of clashing is good for TV.;)

NO SWEARING

Swearing! The 'D' word!? My God you can even say that on the BBC.

Trey has a passion to get the job done, which is why he is still in - but that's about it. It's nothing to do with him being "good TV" even Sir Alan pointed out Trey would "make mince meat" of Rory in the boardroom - that is a bloody big compliment after getting a rollocking and being told to shut it, tbh.

I think Rory came across like a tit, both as the groups leader and in the boardroom. I was lol'ing when Alan Sugar said "make mince meat out of him" cause i was saying Tre would do the same thing myself. I like Tre, he reminds me a lot of Saeed, not just cause his asian, but because the guy's got a mouth on him and he seems driven, he just wants results. I doubt he'll win it, but at the moment, he's my favourite. Excluding that blonde with the blue eyes ;) , the things i'd do to her *ahem*

So far, many of the people seem totally clueless. Some are cutthroat, which is what i enjoy seeing in business, but they just seem to lack any real business sense.

anyway, is it just me or has Jadine got something going with this whole 'eclipse' thing? IS she gonna try to link it to every task lol? Wouldn't be surprised if she works/owns a business with theat name or plans to in the near future.

And what about Ifti? Surely he must have thought about the time he'd spend away from his son before comming onto the show? Winds me up when people are presented with such a great opportunity and end up throwing it away. That spots now been wasted and i'm sure others would have been willing to run their mothers over to be in that position.

The quantum physicist was quiet this week keeping her head down :D Trey is irritating but a least he has something about him, the rest are just dullards, an interview for mcdonalds woul be too much for them :D

I think some of the job titles they have are misleading against their abilities. I am thinking that Trey and the girl who managed the other team last night could go quite far in this series.

Rory couldn't manage a stiffy in a lapdancing club so how on earth he was going to manage people was beyond me. Talk about misplaced confidence. The right choice to go last night imho

I doubt Trey could either, but we will see next week! I can not stand Trey at all, far far too arrogant with a far too big gob on him. Why does he insist on swearing so much all the time!?

Is the Apprentice really made over 12 weeks, or is it made in 2 and dragged out for us for 12?
Not sure but I guess it can't have been finished yet otherwise surely the winner would have been leaked

True but surely friends/family of the returning 'apprentices' would notice their reappearance and the papers could find out that way?

Tre atleast seems to have some of the ideas right, just he puts them over in such a poor manner. Last week he realised that sitting outside Starbucks flogging coffee to passers by was a good position. when jadine told him to leave the position and come back to the static stall was a bad move. Jadine said they were 10 mins away and needed extra people. 10 mins at lodon traffic speeds would be a 15 min walk and they would not loose there good pitch.

This week he did want the focus group feedback. When he had it he was convinced, like the focus team that they had the wrong product. Didn't Margaret say last week that when your in a situation like this and you know you have a week leader, it would be your duty to takeover to ensure the win. The product was awful. I have dogs, when I go for a walk a carrier bag stuffed in a pocket is all i need with me. Couple of leads for the dogs but they don't really need storing. There are alway enough things to through for stupid dogs to run to sniff and run back deciding it would be better to fetch it yourself.

If Tre could just calm down a little and not get so aggressive he could go further. Probably down to the last 5. Tre needs to be made a project manager or given more responsibility. the only way he will shut up if is you give him so much work to do which he believes in he'll get swomped. He'd make a good second in charge of a group if someone could realise how to control a hot head.

The three who were left in the boardroom, none of them looked like they were going to win and I think SAS knew that. Ifti practicily quit Rory was useless, but Tre would make the show better.

On a side Note, Jadine. Stop branding everything!! Its annoying and completly a waste of time on a one day task.

Can we create a list of Key Words or Phrases that gets you fired on this show. Ideation, Out of the Box thinking, Blue sky thinking, and solution Solution are my frontrunners at the moment.

PS. Frontrunners should get me fired.

Last series I believe they filmed the majority of the episodes well in advance, whittling down to a small number of final candidates, then filmed the final couple closer to the airing time to avoid leaks, prepare for the following media onslaught, etc.

It wouldn't be much use if we found out the winner then discovered they'd already been working with Sir Alan for six months :p
