The Apprentice

Last series I believe they filmed the majority of the episodes well in advance, whittling down to a small number of final candidates, then filmed the final couple closer to the airing time to avoid leaks, prepare for the following media onslaught, etc.

It wouldn't be much use if we found out the winner then discovered they'd already been working with Sir Alan for six months :p

Alan said to Ifti that he knew he was going to be away for 12 weeks, so guess that it must be filmed as one long series. I'm also guessing that it is filmed about 1-2 weeks in advance, so that they can show next weeks clips in advance but minimise the chances of a leak.

Is the Apprentice really made over 12 weeks, or is it made in 2 and dragged out for us for 12?

I read somewhere that it takes seven weeks to film in September/October. Hence the candidates are always on the go with very little spare time.

I heard that too. They do 12 tasks to be broadcast over 12 weeks but this is filmed over 2 months or so. Then when it comes to the final two, they both work with Sir Alan from the end of filming to the week of the final when its filmed then so that although we all know who the last two are, no-one knows who the winner is because they film that show during the last week.

Watched it last night. I've met the ex army lieutenant on a visit to the Royal Artillery quite funny seeing him on TV. Seemed like a nice bloke when I met him. Seemed to be completely embarrassed last night, as most people would be, about the group leaders management style.

Last series didn't they all go through the process in the Autum and when it got down to the last two they did this at christmas, the task was arrange a christmas Party on Tower Bridge. The feedback for the event didn't happen until the week before the last show in the series was aired. The 3 months in between this task and "Your Fired" they both worked for SAS. In reality the last 2 do a 3 month trial before SAS decides which is the one he preffers to work with.

Just finished watching it this afternoon.

I loved the way they introduced Rory Laing as simply, 'Bankrupt Entrepreneur'. I just laughed out loud at that one! Classic stuff!

Alan was on good form for a change, less punchable. Trouble is I'm finding it a little too predictable. Ifti was set up for a fall about half way through, and Rory just had 'Fire Me' tattooed to his forehead! Same as last week with that idiot Andy.

Jadine needs to go next... But then again, she is entertainingly mental (but with an Eclipse twist ;) ), just like mouthy Tre!

**** me, she's gonna be running the NHS soon, isn't she?
So we've found a reason for her to win then, for Sir Alan to be stuck with her for a while.

Bet you she gets Eclipse into the NHS name as well. The Eclipse Health Service? Or the National Eclipse? Actually that sounds more like some trash tabloid paper that.;)

I can’t wait to see that episode, although it does seem a little unfair.

I thought about the concept and came up with usb dog tags for pooches that could be connected to their collar.

As usual every idea I think of has already been thought of :(
