Me too, ordered couple of weeks back and now have motherboard & CPU, just waiting on the RAM. Probably same supplier

I've gone for 2800mhz corsair dominator plats
These come with XMP profile for 3000mhz 1.35v
I've thought about changing them for some g.skill memory to match the board!

The only thing that puts me off this board is that it drops to 16x/8x/8x if running 3 cards...

Not that it matters, I'm running 8x8x8x on my deluxe till my new fittings arrive. You lose bugger all performance. Literally even flat out my graphics scores are the same.

It's not, this board drops to 16/8/8 when using 3 cards even on a 40pci-e lane CPU.
The deluxe supports 16/16/8 but not this board

Did you look at the Kingston predator?
Looks like the 3000mhz sticks use 1.25v.
And aren't so expensive, in comparison to Corsair.

yeah a few of the kits do, including the Ballistix.
Not too fussed though.
There will be much, much faster kits than these in the coming months. All the launch stuff is much of a muchness

One of the reasons I was considering the deluxe over the rampage was because of the PCI lanes but in reality 16/16/8 and 16/8/8 has maybe 1-2 fps difference!

lol even 8x8x8 has probably that difference, like I say my graphics score in FS aren't affected, even in Extreme
