Just got the swift today and I am quite impressed with it. No backlight bleed unlike the XB280HK 4k monitor. Screen looks lovely. One thing I have noticed is the XB280HK looks a lot sharper particular with the text and Windows does scale it better.
I also wondered do people generally set it to 144mhz with g sync enabled?
Ordered one today, is a single Gigabyte GTX980 G1 overclocked enough to benefit with this monitor?
Or do you think it's worth selling up the 980 and going SLI 970 for a bit more money.

Not sure why we don't hear much about the Acer Predator 4k monitor on here, seems better for value, surprised there isn't any threads like this one about it.

Fully agree - 144hz 2560x1440 > 60hz 4k For gaming.
I've definitely noticed mine is giving a cross hatch type thing on the image during fast movement, not always there but noticeable when it appears, anyone else getting this? am I witnessing the infamous screen door effect perhaps?
What's the deal with all the power issues the ROG Swift monitor is having. Mine won't power back on from sleep or PC power unless I unplug it from the brick, wait 10s and plug it back in...I sent the below to the """"VIP"""" ASUS customer support;

They replied promptly that I have to either send the whole monitor in for an RMA or contact the retailer for a spare powerbrick. I did that and the retailer couldn't help either and suggested I RMA everything. Seems messed up for a £700 monitor that's less than 6 months old.
