Gibbo, What is the first batch allocation size like?
I guess quite a few more than 20 given the price?
Gibbo, are you taking Pre-order funds immediately or on shipping?
It's immediate I'm afraid.
Price is relative to scarcity and competition and this monitor has very little of both at present. Haters gonna hate I guess.

Well, £720 is not overly bad if the actual RRP is going to be £699. However, £699 seems a little on the high side for where this product was originally pitched.
I just want to know how good the TN panel actually is compared to some of the older 120Hz TN models.
AFAIK the real RRP is closer to £669. OCUK have admitted that they are charging a premium due to availability.
For me if that monitor is nothing short of revolutionary when it comes to gaming I will return it - the last thing I want though is for the reviews to come out and echo what Gibbo has already mentioned and for there to be no stock.
If your a gamers playing FPS games and your system does not have enough VGA power to always keep you above 60fps then you will notice a dramatic improvement.
Even if your managing plus 60fps always you will still have benefits such as never having any screen tearing.

Or go SLI/Crossfire if you can. Will be cheaper if you have a decent monitor to start with?
You're forgetting about the IQ/120hz aspect.
So if you already have a 120/144 monitor and can dual card is there any point in getting one of these?
