I noticed you changed up from the Gigabyte, good call. I think we'd hear about issues quite quickly if there are any. I'm monitoring the Asus support pages to update #1 + #2 Posts should anything occur.

I'm not got my order in, can't decide on case.
 
Or try to mod something yourself, like me :-)
Cost will be the same as getting SM8 but oh-so much more fun :-)

I can give you a few ideas if you want to go for it :-)
 
I ordered an enthoo primo case last week and it's amazing, plan to water cool all my new x99 gear next week. If you plan on water cooling, this is the case to get :)
 
I have a black nvidia edition CM690 II and a Coolermaster Stacker gathering dust, maybe I can do something with those with some spray paint.
I love the removable tray in the stacker.

My build plans atm is

Deluxe obviously / 5960X / Avexier white led ram / M.2 custom the mount and drive / would love dual loop WC / dual tube res / maybe bitspower or monsoon chain gun /

The Deluxe and WS boards are the best looking in my opinion but I'd love to see an armoured sabre style to. OFC in white!

I've still got the gigabyte but it's been nothing but trouble I've ordered the deluxe so should get that on Tuesday it will look nice in my white phanteks enthoo primo with white tubing etc
 
3way crossfire Sapphire r9 290 tri-x is just a No go, even with this board.

My Deluxe turned up about half 1 today(with 5930k.. My Case Comes tomorrow corsair 540)....

And I was keen to get my 3 cards going on this....However, as the Tri-x are a litte bit bigger, and just over hang to give problems.

reason I bought the x99, Is to run 3 cards and it should last me for a good 4ish years.

Now do I sell all 3 and buy again, or go about watercooling(know very little about it, but am keen to learn) them to give that little bit more space.

Have moved from the I5-2500k to the I7 5930k

 
Wow that's a shame, I almost bought this for my 3 290's but glad I went for the extreme.

How close are 3 cards or can you only fit 2 on?
 
Hi do they over hang over sata ports or are you meaning over the bottom where the reset and power button are

Extreme be any better for the Tri-x?

The go in slots 1 3 5 (16x16x8)

fans rub on card in slot 5, plus I lose slot 2, was going to have that for my sound card.
