This may be a stupid question but what's the difference between an ultrabook and a netbook? Or is it just a marketing slogan?
Ultrabooks are much higher quality, slimmer, much faster (core i5 and i7 vs. Atom/AMD e series) etc.

An Macbook Air with same specification and extras cost £1049.00 on Apple direct.
This is the advantages of:-
SATA3 SSD (Faster)
USB3.0
Windows 7 (Yes some people do prefer Windows)
£150 less!!!
Its only weakness against the Apple is the use of a TN panel versus IPS which is unfortunate.
But in fairness this is a well priced and very high performance piece of kit.
This might help support your argument even further...
MBA Don't actually have an IPS panel. So this only strengthens your argument further.
On the other hand. USB 3 isn't terribly popular and not that big of a deal to most people. Although it looks cool on paper. Apple also have Thunderbolt which is a lot quicker than USB3. However, once again... it's not that common at the moment with compatible devices.
The read/write speeds in this thing is what makes it the clear winner IMO.
For what...not putting the stickers on it? They've gone a little OTT with the lawsuits admittedly but I don't think that would stand up in court

My Acer One 521 plays 1080P no problem, that's a single core 1.2 AMD chip with a Radeon graphics chip, DXVA is awesome.

I'm personally holding off for next years ultrabooks. Asus have jumped into the market first and made a very good job. However, it's first gen. I'm looking forward to see what's going to be added and improved upon next year. Even if it is only the inclusion of an ivy bridge.
Perhaps a backlit keyboard will also be added with any luck. I will definitely be buying one then!

Doesn't look very nice at all.
The finish is pretty horrendous and the screen/bezel looks wrong.
If you're looking at getting one of these, save up the bit extra for the Air and stick Windows on it.

Has anyone installed windows 7 proffesional on this thing? I'm getting an error on bootup saying "You have to install ATK0100 driver" but i have downloaded and installed all drivers and apps from the Asus website. Any ideas on a fix?
Also a few of the software packages like the Power 4 Gear thing wont install as it says it requires a Asus product!
