The bad thing about parking sensors

My dad's car has all-round sensors with a detailed graphic display on the LCD screen in the dash. Its pretty swish and as he has a long boot and bonnet (my mum drives it too) pretty useful.

Don't need it in the Clio or Focus though (boot stops where window stops).

dont get me started on Australian cars mate ... most Aussies are terrified by driving a manual ....

:)

Thats Dirty Cheap ******* Holden and Ford for you

Dirty slags make 90% in Auto it seems.

But they now have the OMG SUPER UBER Automatic Sport Shift!!

Australian car companys are ******* useless at creating a car and i hope the all collapse perssonally :(

At least then the tarrifs we get only any thing that isnt made here with go away

Whilst I find the sensors really useful, surely the real benefit is to start reversing towards a car which has a driver/passenger in it. As you're getting closer to the 50cm gap "beeeep", the look on their faces is priceless.

If a car from out another Country like Germany or Japan the govenment will tax its **** off to Protect the Australian Car Industy. (Holden and Ford)

If Holden and Ford wernt around then we would have much cheaper car prices and less strict importing rules and regulations just like New Zealand.

But while they are still here we will have to pay through our nose for anything that was made off shore(apart from the Astra and Corsa)

EDIT: Ford Falcon is a lovely car though, wish we had it in the UK

I take it you havnt tryed to change the Headlights on a Falcon.

The wonders of building cars with bloody Xmas tree clips and not real bolts and screws :(

Bring on the Collapse of Holden and Ford!!

Rumour has it that The govenment might remove the tarriffs in 2008 and the private import rule is about to disapear.

Its only rumour but lets hope its true :D

I somehow managed to park in someones garden today without realising.

I've done that with my truck trailer, although I parked on the garden rather than in it. :D

I totally fail at judging rear distances, especially since I got the A6 :(

Luckily I always underestimate how much space I have, the other way round wouldn't be good.

I parked a Sierra in some womans snow-covered garden using only an LSD and the throttle. She was unimpressed to say the least, especially when my mate came round the corner behind me and parallel parked his XR4i using a similar technique.
