So, who's going down this year?

Norwich look pretty screwed but if they manage to string a few wins together then they might have a squeak.

Watford are horribly hit and miss and on paper should drop, pretty awful club generally though.

Burnley nobody likes, hopefully they go down but I just have a feeling they'll scab enough points to stay up, just.

Leeds defence is bloody awful but with Bamford back, I think they'll be fine. Of the 6 teams battling it out, I think they've got the most fight in them.

Everton.. how on EARTH are they down there? The players look dejected, they've spent a fortune on garbage and the manager just doesn't look like the man to keep them up. They have a horrific run in as well, even with 3 games in hand. I honestly fear for them.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say Brentford and Newcastle are safe now. The bottom 5 are so dreadful that 33 points should be enough, there's no way both of them will fail to pick up at least another win.

My 3 to drop are Norwich, Watford and Everton.

What say you OCUK?

Bamford being back is a biggy, although to have Phillips back would be a lot bigger, hell even Cooper to sort out the defence.

Norwich and Burnley I feel are down, the game we have away to Watford 9th April I think could decide the other place purely on momentum/confidence going into the final games. I look at our fixtures and they all look daunting, you just don't know what you will get with us. We should have been out of sight today but still manage to do it the hard way.

Not been relegated since 1951. But genuinely believe we’re going down this season. We may have games in hand, but struggle to see where the points will come from.

Im not going top lie...ill be unbearable if this happens. You have my permission to ban me now as youre going to if it happens :cry::cry:

I truly think that Everton are going down, they have games in hand but their fixtures are horrific. They have some really tough matches on the run in. Will be the biggest team to ever get relegated in my lifetime. 68 years since they last were not in the top division.

Can't see Everton going down tbh, they surely aren't as bad as Norwich, Watford or Burnley even though their current form is horrible

Norwich and Burnley are down, it's between Watford, Everton and Leeds.

That was a huge win for Watford away at Soton. It's a good thing for Everton their next match is postponed.

Norwich are dead and buried.
Watford will struggle because Everton have 3 games in hand, Leeds are 4pts ahead and Brentford 8pts ahead.
Burnley maybe have a chance if they can get some points from the their games in hand. Just a case of whether they can catch Leeds, I think Leeds have some quality BUT they were in freefall before Bielsa left, and their goal difference is shocking compared to Burnley.

All you people who are convinced Everton are going down put your money where your mouth is at get the bets on, 3.2 at the moment. Personally I think that is too short and will look to lay them.

The thing is, the fixtures look bad simply because they have a bunch of games against teams in the bottom half not yet scheduled, e.g. Burnley, Watford, Palace and Leicester. So the difficulty of their run-in is artificially inflated at present. In particular, having games against Burnley and Watford helps keep things in their hands, they may not need anything more than mediocre form in other games to stay up.

I disagree I don’t think Newcastle are safe yet, we still need at least a win and a 2 draws

I think Norwich and Watford have left themselves too much to do in too few games.

3rd spot is a toss up between Leeds, Burnley and Everton. Of those three, Everton are currently looking least likely to pull themselves out of trouble.

Said a week or so Norwich and Watford were gone and it was a toss up between Brentford, Leeds and Everton. Burnley the past few games can't score for toffee but I still think it's Everton joining the other 2.

Will be weird having no merseyside derby next year if Everton do go down. They'll have the biggest stadium in the Championship by quite some margin and I guess DCL, Pickford and Richarlison will be the first out of the door
