The battle for survival!

Everton are in a scary situation plus their manager hasn't got a clue.

In terms of winnable games.

Burnley have been here plenty before and still have games in hand. They also play Watford and Norwich.

Everton have got Watford, Newcastle and Brentford. The rest are against top 8 teams.

Watford have got Everton, Leeds, Brentford and Burnley.

Watford on paper have the best chance of staying up. Especially now they got the owl in charge who will get them organised at least.

Leeds on paper have a favourable run in and already points in the bag.

Hmm...Man City, Chelsea at home (seems to be no advantage for us) then away trips to Wolves, Arsenal, Palace and Brentford. I don't see any points being gained in any of them! I'm a massive cynic right now granted but I'm looking at other results rather than ours.

The games we must win are Southampton (h), Watford (a) and Brighton (h), I cannot see it. I don't think we will make it.

If you're expecting 0pts against a newly promoted side like Brentford that's a worry, I mean if Saints is a must-win match then I would say Brentford is at the very least a must-draw.

I don't think newly promoted means much, Brentford have hit some form, are seeing the affect of having Erikson and Toney firing in the goals. Whereas Southampton are now out of form.

Less confident, but if it was above evens I'd be tempted to back it. Two games against Leicester who basically have nothing to play for in the League, and are still in Europe.

Just skimming through Leicester's fixtures, their progression in Europe could have huge knock-on effects for both the relegation fight and battle for 4th.

If Leicester make it to the ECL semi's then they're playing every weekend and midweek between now and the end of the season, with their trip to Spurs falling right in the middle of a both legs of the semi and then the Everton game right after the 2nd leg. I'm not too sure they have the squad to go strong in all those games and given their position in the League, they could be putting out 2nd strings in those two League games.

Last night was the first time in over 12 months since we've been able to play our 1st choice defenders.

If we can get Vardy back and keep everyone fit, this is a huge opportunity to finish strong in the league & we're a few games away from our first final in Europe.

I think Leeds will stay up. we need 3 more points I think and we can target the games against Palace, Brighton, Brentford and Arsenal. Here's hoping anyway.

Been an Everton fan for 35 years and though I want to say Burnley, Watford and Norwich, I look at those fixtures and my heart fills with dread. Saturday was a flash in the pan IMO, the next 4 games I see as 4 defeats meaning the away game at Watford is a must win and at least one draw is needed from somewhere. If they cant muster 4 points from these remaining games I think Burnley will pass them but even then that might not be enough.

I think we will beat Leicester next Wednesday night. COYB.

If Leicester make it through in their Europa Conference League tie then I'd fancy your chances in the game away to them too. They have little to play for in the League now and your game will fall a few days after a potential semi final 2nd leg - they could be fielding a weakened side there.

Looking forward to being back in the championship next season.
It's fun having a good season and sometimes winning the league but then having to put up with a season or two in the prem is a nightmare!

I see Burnley play Saints at home on the Thursday night. Saints are in poor form, so I can see Burnley picking up points.

But if we beat Leicester, that will really pile the pressure on Burnley to get a result.
