New BenQ 1440p 144hz Freesync screen installed, no dead pixels and amazing motion clarity - CHECK

Can crossfire 7950's hack it at 1440p 144fps - CHECK

I'm in love with this sceen, OMG and this isn't even with Freesync working.

Amazing what these cards can still achieve, my little puppies are so beastly. Drops to around 100-120fps in 64 man conquest, but man, that's so much more than I was expecting. Now to fine tune the colour levels.

Why is freesync not working? Do the drivers not support it yet?
I think you'll be in for a treat when it is working if it's anything like GSYNC.

2 things mate, Freesync I believe is having a driver released on the 19th, then another in April which enables Freesync with Crossfire I think.

Also, my 7950 cards will not support Freesync, I think it's only from 280x that will utilise Freesync. I'm getting a 390x anyway in the summer or whenever they are launched so at that point thats when I'll get into the Freesync. Even as it is though, the motion clarity is brilliant, can't believe I waited this long to get away from 60hz lol.

If rumors are true then the 390x is on par with the Titan X which will make it broadly 2X as fast as my setup  Roll on 980Ti.

Not bad, you will see drops below 100 fps though on some full 64 player servers with a lot going on in your field of view.

Yeah did drop to about 100fps in hectic fire fights, but didnt even notice the drop in frames, I'm over the moon with this purchase mate, thanks for the help in the other thread btw.

What resolution is 1440p with 200% scaling? Is it something like 6k lol?

295x2 can do the above without MSAA at around 60fps with Mantle.

Both the TitanX and 390x will be in the same ballpark as 2x GTX970 then but without the memory bug and more memory as well.
Given I've got a GSYNC monitor I'll have to stick with Nvidia for the moment, but I'm not paying Titan prices to fix the 970s memory issues, I might see if I can get a pair of second hand 980s when the titan rolls out.

I've had very few issues with battlefield or any other game for that matter since switching to a single card. I'm not saying that the 9 series or 2 series are unreliable in SLI/Crossfire but I think having a single quick card is always better but clearly more expensive.

I remember the original Titan thread - people were laughing at those that spent 1k on a card but yet they were a fantastic investment.
