The Battlefield 4 Thread 2015

Hey guys, just to give you a heads up, there will be an ESL Nations Cup starting in Feb, probably 10v10, and Team UK will be representing in BF4. The team will be setting up around next week I imagine, so Nexus et al, if you're interested give me a shout on BL.

Feel free to join on us anytime. You'll be easier to spot if you use OcUK clan tags. We have a squad rule though that people on Discord get priority space in squads, so don't feel it's personal if you get booted from a squad to make room for someone else if you are not on Discord with us.

Power came back on about 2am!

Nexus have you tried powerline adaptors? Just done them for my sons PC, before with Wifi he was getting 10-13mbps down, now with the adaptors he is getting 80-90 down.

Not bad for £25 kit.
 
Anyone on tonight for BF 4, SWBF or GTA 5?

Thanks for the heads up, shall play a bit more and let you know next week if I'm interested. Any ideas who we will have this year? I think most of last years team have uninstalled bf 4 now :D

Nah, I've looked at them before but with the electricity in this house, they would suck for me :p It is so bad that when the you turn on the vacuum cleaner, the lights flicker for a second :o

Besides, the adapter I have is pretty good, I get 130-150MB

The problem is virgin's crappy superhub, I really need to get a 3rd party one. Also, been reading about trying different DNS servers too, think a few people use google's servers and get good results although it depends on your location etc.

Hey chaps,I never bothered opening up any of my cases before,So they have just accumulated :D

Now as far as i know,you get things like 50% boost in points,Skin & attachments from them.

But what i dont know,When i open a case and select the 50% boost,Does that boost only last a certain amount of time like 1 round or a certain amount of hours?

It's not overly obvious, but on the pause screen on the right hand side, towards the bottom is a boost available button. Here it will list all your available boosts, and their duration. You have to manually choose the boost for it to be effective.
