The Battlefield 4 Thread 2015

I've given up with any further BF games for now. They just keep screwing them up and making them more catered for the console audience.

I've also come to a crossroad in my gaming life where I've asked myself is it worth complaining about the same issues every year for a game where the development team and CM don't give a ****? My answer is No.

Battalion 1944, Escape from Tarkov, Division are games I hope are very successful. So unless Bad Company 3 - a true successor to Bad Company 1 and 2 is released Dice's next game will only be a bargain bucket purchase.
 
Hmmm if it's 2143 then for me, it won't be a purchase.

I could just about *maybe* stomach another "modern warfare" style game...maybe.
 
I think the hints at 2143 have been fairly clear from final stand. I never played 2142, but from what I gather the naval strike version of titan assault (carrier assault) is rubbish in comparison. I haven't enjoyed carrier assault, and my concern is it will be as bad in 2143.

Rush and conquest have become the mainstay game modes of BF IMO, and the biggest mistake DICE keep making is designing a map for one mode and then hastily retro fitting other game modes to that map leading to an unbalanced and unenjoyable combinations. What's the betting we have too many game modes again.
I'll make an exception for TDM and STDM as they have to be in a game like this even if it's just to practice the gunplay, rather than being the core game modes.

I wish it was Vietnam :(
 
Well done to the lads last night. I hear Belgium and Luxembourg have both requested Nexus's extradition on charges of base rape. :D

Next stop Germany which should be the choice game of the group.

Yup, those games were a lot easier than expected, loved how they just started to leave the last round before the game was even over lol...

Supposedly Germany is going to be very tough but iirc, it doesn't matter if we lose :p
 
I was watching whilst on my spin bike. Was a decently played round on Golmud the first round, was funny seeing one chap on the other side with 0-12.

Must be rather embarrasing being on 10v10 and going that far negative.

Yeah k/d doesn't really matter in these matches but still to not kill anyone and die that much... TBF to them though, noises etc. were saying that they didn't have any really good vehicle players, they are all about the infy so if the map was something like zavod, it would have been much closer.


I am not use to friendly fire though, team killed a couple of people repping me again :o :p
 
I LOVE battlefield 4,,im just not that great at it on pc lol on ps4 I was excellent but still not used to keyboard and mouse yet on pc and using a pad seems worse for some reason on pc,,,i get a few kills each game though and have even come up near the top of my team due to capturing flags and handing out medic packs,,,its not all about the kills all the time lol :)
