I will if anyone plays a server I am not banned from and that interests me.

Also no fast vehicle trash.

Im also heavily intoxicated.

Supposed to be 10-14 working days and been that already.

Yesterday I got criticised for taking out aircraft in the AA. I shot down the same player's jet twice. After the second time he criticised me for "not playing the objectives". I thought that was odd because how many flags can you capture in a jet?

However one or two members on my own team criticised me. Admittedly I stayed in the open field around the central objective but certainly didn't camp back at base. I took out plenty of jets and loads of helicopters. I understand the criticism of using AA to just hunt infantry and get loads of kills but that was most definitely not what I was doing.

I was using anti air.... Anti air!!!!!

I finished top scorer on my team, isn't that a sign of playing the game the right way?
 
^^ MAA gets loads of stick regardless of what you use it for.

Personally I'm not a big fan of it as it can dominate the sky far too easily - even if you load out a heli for anti-vehicle the MAA can often light you up way outside the range the game even renders the MAA for air units, etc. making it very one sided - I'm not totally against that level of domination but it should require teamwork in a game like BF not one person sitting alone in a vehicle heh.

Well I usually struggle to take out jets, I think they're grossly overpowered. I imagine that's why the AA exists. It's the Rock Scissors Paper philosophy.

Jets can do tanks
AA can do jets.
Tanks can do AA....and so on.

Anyway, I thought it was a bit unfair. I only had one life in the AA, the rest of the time it really was a base camper. Who knows, maybe my team mates thought I was the camper.

I'm pretty sure the opposition pilot didn't like it because even though he bailed I hunted his parachute and killed him both times. He was probably used top flying around in his jet getting kills with no comeback.
 
Jets are only op with good pilots, you very rarely will see a jet dominating the maps. There are plenty of ways to handle aircraft without the aa and it is much easier if playing as a team to do this.

And if an aa is destroying the enemy team then that is their fault, aa's are op but if against a good organised squad or 2, they should be easy to deal with. Even a great attack jet pilot should easily take out most of the average aa whores.

Turn off your chat, solves the problem.
 
Most of of the time when there is rage in the chat I just don't bother answering back. Probably means you're doing a good job :)
