If I didn't have to go back to living in my crappy student house away from my beloved rig then I'd be able to get into the top 30 UK for tanks easily Came very close today, but alas I must return to student living and studying...
On another note, I really hate MBT Laws with a passion now more than ever - seems like loads of people are abusing its nooby powers...

That's true, staff shells annoy me too - I roll with Sabot and Coaxial HMG on my MBT all the time and it's a pain coming up against enemy tanks with Staff Shells, requires some clever manoeuvring to beat them.
Still, I refuse to switch to the Staff Shells as they're too nooby - plus HMG allows me to get more kills against infantry and it's useful to finish off helis with after Sabot shelling them.
Game is made for noobs:
- staff
- activ radar missiles
- mbt law
- gunship
- artillery
- bomber
All proof of this.
Can't wait for the first 3 things to get nerf to hell in the next patch. Bring some skill back into this game and hopefully all those noobs will also leave the game for good and go back to COD.

Gunship hmm it can be countered by learning the flags that grant it to the commander and denying the enemy that flag.
Staff shells though I have no idea what they were thinking - I use them purely because your ******* in the wind trying to take someone on who is using them on equal terms and the "hit reg" is so poor HMG is about as useful as a water pistol half the time. One of the most skill-less things in the game though :| (after the MAA that is).

All people do when they get in the gunship is spam their mouse button at anything spotted, nothing you can do about it, only aa and jets can and that is the real problem, generally you get useless people in those vehicles Playing with cherry etc. earlier and unfortunately some random got the aa first so gunship was destroying our tanks because he was infantry farming.....
Only other option is to go and cap the gunship flag but then you get taken out by the 3+ engis running around whilst the gunship is also firing at you....
Yup, a noob just needs to get lucky and he can take out a skilled tank driver in a few seconds (especially if they are using HE), nothing you can do, even if you have a repper. Thankfully most tankers are bad but still annoying none the less!

HMG is deadly, fire in 1-2 bullet bursts, can literally snipe people across the map with that thing, once you learn the drop etc. it is extremely good.

Mostly been playing bolt-only TDM the last week or so.
It's a very fun game mode for a quick blast, though it can be hard to find a server without at least one nonce running around with an ACE52 or an MG4 while everyone swears at him in chat. Weirdly, they don't seem to do any better than the bolt-users, but it's annoying.

I hate to say it but it isn't that the game is made for noobs, it's made for console players to be able to play with joypads.
The first three items say to me 'easy auto aim' for joypad use.
The last three items more cater for the CoD crowd I think. Though artillery has been in battlefield right from the start in BF1942. Using artillery from a destroyer ship was much more difficult and required a sniper to call for an area to be hit.

How can artillery and Gunships be classed as noobs, they are only in use in some parts of the round, cruise missiles are great for sorting out campers, you could say that for tank whores who just sit tucked away and plucking everybody off.
