I think I have finally gotten good with jets! :D

First round on lacang; 40-1 (TBF about 13 of the kills were via gunship :p)
second round on golmud; 18-0

Screw tanks and boats, jets FTW!

Would have had a nice round on paracel if side didn't steal my attack jet!!! ;(
 
Hi, Am I only one who can't get used to BF4? I played BF3 for over year with all expansions: Rating and skills are pretty good. After +50 hours of BF4 still can't get used to it and don't have same enjoyment to play. I like levolution, however "aiming" is terrible for me even tho It's maybe 100% identical as pretty much same game. I tried different settings in game and via razer software. also have trouble in noticing enemy (lol). Tried today BF3 after not playing about 3 months and was on top of the list with 35:4 in first game. Any ideas? lol

BF3 plays more arcadey/fast compared to BF4 (which is going more in the direction of BF2), plus then you have the big issue that is BF4's inconsistent hit reg.

I think the guns require more recoil control but it's hard to tell when hit reg is all over the place and not consistent.
 
I have never seen so many people complain about a game as much as this one! Maybe i'm just one of the lucky ones but I have had zero bugs or glitches that stop me from playing
 
Noobs who are so sad that they try and ram me in the AA. these noobs are my own teammates going "let someone else have a play" why should I leave a perfectly working vehicle to be left standing in the middle of a battlefield.

It's the random deviation in BF4, There are too many mechanics which change the recoil behaviour compared to BF3.

- First time ADS
- Being Suppressed (although that happened in BF3 too)
- Strafing
- Getting up from prone

Some are demonstrated in this video, 2:20 onwards


Not to forget the bugs that haven't been fixed. Sometimes the cross-hair sticks to hip fire when dying after getting heavily suppressed and getting revived. This happened to me a few days ago also:


To top it of hit detection is the luck of the draw and can be terrible most of the time and by DICE's own admission it is not even at BF3's level (even though BF3's was just as bad)

there aren't many with bugs that prevent people from playing.

The game majorly needs the balance patch that they've talked about. Rumoured to be coming at the same time as the naval strike update in a few weeks.

They've said in Reddit that their current goal is to get the hit registration at least as good as it was on BF3. If they can manage that, I would just about be happy.

Get the balance right in the next patch and It'll be perfect. But this is DICE ... it won't be. This is worth a listen.

I think its due to the combination of things - many issues in isolation you'd just deal with and/or they'd get patched out sooner or later but with BF4 that just isn't happening and/or they patch something out one patch and bring it back even worse the next :S

When like what happened to me the other day happens - vehicle's randomly stopped responding to keyboard input followed about 5 minutes later by being unable to type anything into chat which required an entire restart and then when I finally got back into game after queuing for about 10 minutes I had about 20 seconds left on the map and then the game did the old black loading screen of forever on the map change causing me to have to task kill the game, queue again and when I finally got in I found I was getting the random glitch where trying to fire a secondary weapon results in it swapping to primary instead resulting in reconnecting again and then just getting fed up with the game for the night and playing something else.

Pretty much every 3rd map a night I get the ADS/zoom inversion where ADS is zoomed in and zoomed in sights/magnifier is normal unzoomed which on its own is a minor irritation but when compounded by other issues like getting a bought of poor "hit reg" it just makes the game more frustrating than fun. And these are just some of many many glitches that you can get with the game and seemingly it can start or stop happening completely at random i.e. for the first 2 weeks after release aside from the poor netcode and some movement and hit detection problems it was mostly running fine for me then suddenly one day I was getting problems people had been moaning about that I hadn't had at all upto that point.

There are a lot of people crashing which is preventing them playing :P I know 3-4 people who ever since launch have been unable to play for more than 5 minutes without BF4.exe has stopped responding and they can play any other game fine, etc. so its definitely a game problem rather than their system(s).

Copped a right strop last night and rage quit, only ever done that once before. On Yawnbreaker both of our tanks rushed to B, leaving me alone in the MAA facing Nexus in a tank, needless to say, both tanks lasted seconds before going down and then without any cover I went down too. No wonder that team lost by 600 tickets on an 800 ticket server.

Tried to switch back, no joy. Rage quit. Might be about some for SA during the day.
 
Really enjoying playing the game at the moment. Since donning the OcUK tag I've been getting a lot more backchat. One server I was on I was proclaimed to be a noob (which TBH is fairly accurate) because of the tag by one of my own team members. Ended up 4th on the winning side (64 player).

Jumped on a clan server yesterday, it was 4 clan members against 3 randoms with ~350 tickets to 64 left (CQ Oman). We then routed them.
