I used the AR160 on Floodzone and Hainan Resort last night and it's actually not a bad rifle at all. Seems to be very little recoil on it.
I was using the F2000 before it and actually really like that gun and the standard sight, but as I never really play anything other than engineer I use carbines.

F2000 should be pretty damn good with the heavy barrel now! Before it wasn't that great for anything other than close range imo
Finally managed to sort out my macro keys now, tonight should be good fun!
Took down 3 staff shell noobs in a row earlier, oh how the chat war erupted. "Hax innit" - and a new one I have just seen "sabot shell noob" - bejesus!

hahaha I know, it feels absolutely amazing to own all the faggots that use staff, bet you any money there are tons of noobs crying on BL forums about not being able to take tanks out now

hopefully will be on later..My PSU blew yesterday so started playing Civ5 and had another go with Total War Rome 2 last night because I had to use a spare PSU thats only rated and 600w so not good enough for both my 7950s (THEY'VE STILL NOT PATCHED IN SUPPORT FOR MULTI CARD SETUPS on TWR2 WTF!!!!) and I enjoyed myself massively. So might be on tonight for a short time but on just 1 of my cards yuck, but would love to get back to the two I games i mentioned. Was a nice change of pace
Yeah, I will probably be taking a few nights of over the next few weeks for a few reasons:
- need to get new SSD and 8.1 thus fresh install so that will take a day or two
- want to play thief and finish bioshock infinite
I have found it to be that if it kills them, then its a noob weapon. Whatever it is.
One of the reasons i loving running with the ACE weapons. It brings out the rage so much.
Gonna get me some NS weapon unlocks tonight I think. Only need a couple more HS's for the AR160, then its the AWS.
I agree with you when it comes to most "guns", no gun is the best at everything, imo everything is well balanced in this game, the ace weapons are just "good all round"
But things like the staff really were made for noobs who haven't got skill for tank gameplay (imo), the damage combined with the quick fire bug made it virtually impossible to take out tanks using that combination even if you had a repper.
MBT law wasn't a problem with just 1 or 2 guys but when you had 4+ it was damn annoying and then combine that with roof camping.....
Likewise for activ radar missiles, just spam them in the general direction and get mobility hit (annoying when you are making a strafe on a tank or something) or vehicle destroy + kill(s), zero skill required with those missiles.
