just finally got the gol unlocked and the game crashes for the first time in months and so the unlock / achievement just didnt happen

ggs tonight guys, very one sided, kinda feels horrible spawn camping but when the enemy team doesnt play as a unit and we have no flags to cap anymore, what else is there to do.
 
meh couldn't care less if we are team stacking now, I want to play with you guys, not against you and I rather be on the better side than the side where all they do is camp roofs and don't PTFO!

If they are losing that badly, they deserve too, simples!


Just got the AWS unlocked but not got to use it much yet, seems really nice so far and this is without any unlocks!

Only weapon left now is the revolver! Some 24/7 lockers tomorrow :p

Though when we have enough people on, we could easily field 2 full squads on both sides if a server starts to go to pot, but then we can always just find a new server instead.

I've unlocked all the Naval Strike stuff that I can before the expansion is released.

The revolver is pretty good, you definitely can't spam it so you need to choose/time your shots wisely.
AWS on locker is awesome. Simple.
AR160 is actually really good.
SR-2 is good up close with nice hip fire, but useability drops off rapidly with range.

AA Mine is good fun, but you need to carry a rocket launcher (SRAW for me) to make the most use of it. Problem is you have to give up your repair tool to use that setup so it's situational.

I've been trying out the heavy barrel on carbines tonight.
ACE 52 CQB - hated the extra recoil
SG553 - actually makes this weapon really good at mid range when you are burst firing.

Dunno if anyone here would be interested but the ESL runs a cup on sunday nights. £100 to the winning team. 5v5 DOM. After the first (6?) weeks the top 8 teams qualify for the £500 final.

Fairly poorly attended so far so if anyone here was interested, would be great to have new teams about.

UK cup I should add.

Well I've spent a week trying out BF4 and I've decided its not for me, am going back to BF3.

I'm just no good at BF4, even after having played BF3 for 367 hours, I still am utterly useless at BF4. I move about and all I hear is thud thud, and Im dead. In BF3 I could have someone get the jump on me and they would land the first hit and I could manage to turn the fight around and win it, but in BF4 I just couldnt manage it, every single time whoever landed the first hit won. People would run across my path and I'd empty an entire clip at them , in small bursts and they'd happily just run off into the distance and half the time when I was killed it was by someone on the other side of a wall or in some cases on the other side of a building. Though someone said there was a problem with the kill cam, so that might explain that.

Long and short of it, is that I just havent clicked with BF4 at all, I enjoy BF3, but after my week in BF4, I cant honestly say that I have enjoyed the time playing it. Its been a hassle and a struggle rather than an enjoyment. Maybe I'll return to it at some point in the future to give it another try.

It's not that you're bad at the game, it's just BF4s poor hit reg

Dunno if there is any difference in update rates between bf4 and bf3 but with the huge delay between clients in bf4 by the time you see someone shooting at you often your technically already dead. Kind of funny when your beating people 1 on 1 with the g18 v their assault rifle because of it - was getting so much grief due to that last night.
 
Bf3 suffers the same issues with regards to reg, though it seems more pronounced in bf4. Im seeing much bigger delays in 4 than i ever did in 2 years of playing bf3.
 
few things i noticed from playing last night, whether they are accurate or not. Tanks feel so much nicer, a lot more believable in movement and tank fights. Also thought the miniguns on the side of jelicopters seemed stronger. And also, heavy barrel on my beloved ACE 52 is a no no, way to much recoil. I'll stick with muzzle and angled grip on my baby.
