Lopsided?

Finally got my room sorted. Looks so much better! Except typing makes my monitor jiggle slightly.

PC is in it's own aparture inside the desk, rear of desk removed.... but no cooling at the sides. I can hear it vibrating the desk so not sure if it will overheat or not...

My big AE floorstanders are now in proper stereo and as a result it sounds amazing!

Pics soon.

They were £40 on Clearance last week..... New GPU block is sweet, wasn't going to WC the 680 as the 880's aren't that far away but then got the block for cheap. Ahhhh perfect silence :D

What one did you got for? I had full cover XSPC's for my 680 SLI setup. The Titan EK block I have for my 780 is amazing as it cools the VRM's as well.

Full cover EKWB pre csq. GPU hits 50c @ 1202 / 7000Mhz for BF4 in this heat with fans on 600rpm. Probably turn my fans up a bit but it doesn't go over 40c in heaven :D

How are you finding the new monitor? Tried lightboost / blur reduction thing yet?

Nah, just the way I took the photo.

HAX? Hipfire just became allot easier :p

Ban please!!!

Issue is that I use my keyboard allot for work - and I think typing all day on a mechanical keyboard would make me go insane.

Red and black switches aren't too bad for noise, the noise doesn't even bother me at all now on my red mech KB. Can also get o-rings, which would help quite a lot with red switches.

Previously with membrane keyboards, my fingers would ache badly after a few hours of playing bf, now no pain at all.

I've actually lowered my sensitivity - I feel like I have more control/accuracy in gun fights and its just soo smooth. The monitor itself is a massive step up from my old 120hz iiyama - both from a build quality and IQ/gaming perspective. The monitor is very expensive however but Asus have really done an excellent job - the build quality feels like my old 30" inch Dell; very solid and has really nice gaming specific features where you can adjust stuff on the fly.

Will be trying ULMB tonight - but very happy with GSYNC so far.

Hopefully BENQ/iiyama come out with a cheaper model which is capable of the same features.

I bought a Razer Nostromo for this very reason :)
Have you thought about using a seperate keypad?

Don't need it :)

Just reapplied thermal paste, and a £15 low profile cooler is now keeping it nice and cool.

I will bet that my rig is quieter than yours despite that. It has a V700 PSU which is literally inaudible, and a 92mm Noiseblocker on the cooler that is also literally inaudible. The only part I can hear is the HDD.

lift ya speakers up when u dust u lazy troll!

cant stand any dust or slightest bit of dirt on my desk/keyboard/monitor :D

Main reason I have water is the GPU - can run a 1250mhz clock 24/7 in silence when the temps are pushing 30c in my room. It reall comes into its own when you have SLI.
