FPS is back to normal for me! Much better and smoother now

Have got my FOV set to 90, just trying to decide if I should keep FOV scaling when zoomed in enabled....

And best of all, rex and mag are back in action! :cool:

As a commander I will often choose the target thats most likely to prove trouble for an advancing squad over a higher "value" target - its a bit cheaty really as they can see the position clearly but it helps a ton for a squad thats pushing in.

I think some commanders just dish it out randomly just to get the points though.

turn it off dude so much better

ive gone back to 88 fov from 80 now u can ADS properly..

88 = 120

90 = 121

i have OCD lol

The sound bug that has cropped up is doing my nut in and the fact you have to play a game before it returns on the next is a joke.

The sound engine is held together with duct tape basically - the only soundcard I've had any joy at all with the game is my old Creative X-Fi - ever since the patch that "fixed" the initial problems with sound on certain maps the realtek on my gaming PC and laptop both cut out for 2-3 seconds every few minutes which is extremely distracting. I've also tried it with:

Creative SB Z
Xonar D2
G4m1 Dolby dongle (C-Media based)
Old unbranded USB headphone thingy (think its realtek based)

All have varied issues with sound loss or cutting out sometimes partial sometimes completely loss of sound until the next map plus the odd screeching or sound loops - been going on before the latest patch.

Haven't noticed.

Just unlocked the AS VAL. Need to get a decent sight on it before I'll know what I make of it.

LOL... 1.2GB patch for Mantle when I don't run an AMD card...thanks EA :rolleyes:

Atleast this sidelined the pain of that update:

Been trolling the EA forums with comments such as "Don't get Mantle, get a GTX 690!" haha.

Glad of the DMR tweaks, since unlocking MK11 with all the attachments it is all I use for Engineer / Assault / Support now. Excellent on a map like Shanghai!

Where can you get the 14.1 drivers. I can only find 13.11 ?

In order to use Mantle you will need the following:
-AMD Catalyst 14.1 Beta drivers. AMD will post them here.
-AMD Radeon GPU with Graphics Core Next
-64-bit Windows (7, 8 or 8.1)

The problem with being a squad leader is you cant step down without leaving or making a specific member of the squad the squad leader.

I always try to make commands but sometimes I'm in a heli, etc. Also I'm trying to spot and it bloody changes the squad order!

Well there is supposedly a bug where if you spawn as tank gunner the game does one of 3 things...1 It's fine. 2 Game crash. 3 No top machine gun LOL so maybe we'll ahve to test that pre round apart from that, as Zavod is tonights match, no real changes

Me too, spamming Q can oten lead to multiple orders in quick succession!

Well, I have sound but its the background music - never noticed it before. I have no gun fire or anything. Just made the game unplayable now for me.

This is being reported on the EA forums, lots of people having issues, ive played a number of games with sound but for a few servers ive had none. Not sure if its a server or client issue.
