It's Origin Game Time, the first game was Titanfall, you can also currently get Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning for 48 hours.
It's a bit like Steam Free Weekend but better as your time doesn't start until you launch the game, means people with slow internet get the full game time.

Agreed. I think the movement will definitely raise the skill ceiling as it allows you to more easier get out of trouble easily / play more aggressively.
I think game time is a good thing but have been getting allot of hackusations. On another note, went 54/0 last night only to be C4ed by my own team. Anyone else get this?

Tbh with all the new players coming on due to game time, established players with high k/d ratios will be accused a lot. New players dont seem to realise the time that established players have put into the game to reach the level they have. Seems to be easier to shout hacker instead of saying well done and try to learn from the experienced players.
There are definite hackers in the game no doubt, but they do get caught out eventually. Regarding getting tk'd, ive had that happen too with c4, SLAM's or anti tank mines. For me the changes from CTE cant come to the main game quick enough.

i didn't bother buying this because of all the bad reviews. is it any better now? i feel like killing some peeps
I've always enjoyed it but it is better now. There is an update due to drop in September which will make it much better. You can try the game free through origin at the moment via the Origin GameTime promotion.
Its not bad, certainly not as polished as bf3 currently is. Hopefully the next patch will remedy this.

To be fair it's been out for 2 years and 9 months so it's not surprising its more polished from a core gameplay perspective. The CTE in my opinion is much better than BF3 ever was and I think the vanilla gameplay (movement/netcode excluded) is better than BF3.
You also seem to have had a particularly tough time getting your game working correctly which I'm not sure is fully representative of the wider community
Very true, though bf3 did take a good chunk of time to reach a satisfactory level. As for CTE, Just a shame that there arent a lot of servers for it. As for the issue im having, i cant for the life of me think what it can be. My best assumpion is a netcode/connection issue as CTE plays so differently. Even on a single 780 my fps are consistently very good but the spiking and stutter that comes with it render the game a bit unplayable at times. Ive heard that it runs a bit better on win8, though if the changes from CTE make it in i wont need to move to it. Coupled with another gpu i think i should be grand.
You could try going into NVidia Control Panel -> Manage 3D Settings -> Battlefield 4 (bf4.exe) -> click the Restore button. Also move your user.cfg out of BF4 folder, if you have made one.
I also have a 780, and if I have v-sync off and an FPS limit set in user.cfg then I get terrible stuttering too. So I just keep v-sync off and no FPS limit. Very very little screen tearing.

No, what I am saying is. We have no idea what CPU, GPU you have etc so my initial guess was from no info given. Give us some info about ur rig and we may be able to help
Setter, I also agree to remove Cfg and FPS limit. Leave NVCP stock, there is no point changing anything and go from there.
