Some servers seem to have some kind of weird restriction to the tanks that affects their top speed and acceleration. I take it you've not encountered this? Just makes them sluggish as hell and takes ages to get up hills on other servers they'd be up in half the time.
 
Raider noob that is where my KB sits for typingalings tings. For gaming it is much further over.

I'd say I have 15" of smooth blackness to run my hands over.

I've not noticed this and I tank a fair bit.
 
I think it's more the maps some maps are a nightmare to drive tanks around like Silk Road so many slippery bits and steep hills even under boost. I've had a quick look at server documentation and it doesn't mention vehicle speed (not to say it doesn't exist just its not officially supported).

Sorry couldn't resist, will also be on this evening, might not be around late as I am going to the Army Air Museum tomorrow early so need to have my eye open enough to drive!
