Just read about the new Anti-Heli mine an aircraft disabling projectile for the Engineer class - yeah because they need more ways to bring down heli don't they. FFS

BTW joe, has the Russain heli (haven't been in the US heli for a while) movement/controls been tweaked, jumped in it last night with josh on DB and it felt more agile

I was 0-5 against you on that match, jesus, was horrible, I'd sit on a corner thinking "I'm safe here lets check the min...BANG...killed by Nexus"

Had me near full on rage mode, reminded me of why I don't play against you.

Was rather amusing at one point on that map, outside and there was about 10 of you just bunched together, crispy etc. all mowed down with my lovely mg 4

Yes, M249 as an example. Check 'unlocks' under Battlelog

TBH the game is looking rather crap anyway, pretty much looks like COD with big robots and crappy graphics.

M249 is basically the same as the MG4 I believe (not quite as good actually). Its a fairly short campaign, and you can re do the ending 3 times to get the 3 unlocks. I havent tried the other two....

m249 and mg 4 are the same except:

- m249 has more side to side recoil
- mg 4 has more vertical recoil

Just got Nexus to show me how to use SweetFX in BF4 so much nicer, here is a before & after comparison.

Makes the colours less bright and make it more "realistic" - very nice.

My SweetFX is exactly the opposite. Default looks a little washed out and Sweet FX is much brighter and more vibrant.

Yep, I use SweetFX on absolutely everything, although I havent yet on BF4 because I heard it can get you banned. Makes the visuals so much clearer, gets rid of that horrible grey foggyness and puts some real definition back into the visuals

oh yeah and apologies for my rage quit last night, aim was well off, was just so frustrated, being spawned camped on every map really wasnt much fun.

no cant see me being on tonight, got a night out with misses, plenty of food and drink. Might be on at 00.01 though hehe

I have no idea if its true or not mate, just heard that it might cause PB to think you are doing something to change the game code and ban you as editing the game files. Who knows, but I do use if for every other game. Just wouldn't want to get banned and loose my money because I do like the craic online with BF4.

you will NOT get banned for using it! It doesn't change any of the bf 4 config files.

I and many others have used it in bf 3 as well, nothing has happened.

There is even a post about from EA/DICE saying you won't, not got a link atm but there is def. one around.

Back in bf 3, you could get banned for the realmware colour tweaker as it could change more than just the contrast etc.


I use sweetfx on every game as well, amazing how it can make a game look a lot better, it completely transforms some games i.e. dishonoured.

My SweetFX is exactly the opposite. Default looks a little washed out and Sweet FX is much brighter and more vibrant.

I find default is too warm/yellow and a bit blurry.

silk road looks stunning with the natural sweetfx config.

Only thing about that natural config is I find it a bit harder to spot enemies especially on maps like zavod.
