I wish it did but i've been working on them today and i've finally got the recon expert. 50 marksman ribbons was a pain but after a while i just decided to not worry about camping miles away and enjoyed the peace and quiet looking for targets. Very satisfying really

I think this will be my next objective too. Tried to do some sniping yesterday afternoon with you guys and... I contributed not very much. Lots more practice needed. Lots of spotting ribbons and a few ~210m headshots from the people on Hainan C rooftop obligingly peeking over the parapet and holding still for several seconds.
BF4 is slower paced than BF3. Which is a good thing, but there is too many broken things in the game that really hammer it. Inconsistent hit reg and random first shot bullet deviation being another.
Over all though I do agree, the best things about BF1942 and BF2 were the scale and pace of the game and being able to choose to play the tactical game.
If you play Conquest Large maps with 48 players you can overcome the crowded feeling of the maps a bit.

Conquest Large, Normal Mode (not hardcore), 48-man and try Golmund Railway for the wide-open-spaces feel.
Generally for new players I recommend you go engineer for a few levels, pootle about in the vehicles. Fun and relatively bulletproof way to explore the maps. Trying to do the larger ones on foot is just asking for a long jog followed by being snipered in the face.
The other option, and possibly the better one since you're not a newby to the franchise, just this version, is see if there's a squad on your team with two or three people with the same clan tag - they are more likely to be sticking together, remembering to play their class (ressing as a medic, giving ammo) so just sticking near them will help learn the ropes/routes/choke points.

This guy posted on the bf4 forums all the different cheats that were currently out, he removed the urls because it was against the rules but he was just pointing out how easy they are to use and what cheats are available so that they can be spotted.
I was amazed at how easy they are, basically install a software and it adds a menu to bf4 that allows you to do all sorts of cheats.
Then there was this other cheat that injects macros in to the exe or something and with a mouse you can remove all the recoil on a gun using macro. It took about 3 mins to set up and you have a cheat that they say pb can't detect.
After seeing that i started noticing cheaters especially the ones with no recoil shots. I hate it

Plese A I D M, there are less cheaters out there than you'd imagine in public play and more than you'd imagine in comp :{
I have seen maybe 5 definite cheaters in BF4 since the start. Some of the OcUK guys, most of the comp guys I play with and myself get called cheaters most games.

Yeah the macro thing is fairly ridiculous, I can do it without a macro but it's the fact that people can just turn on a script without having to learn the recoil pattern.
People who cheat tend to be subtle too, they try not to make it obvious.
Is the hitreg fixed? That is all I care about, the game can be a bug fest as long as it doesn't' crash and the hitreg works.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I play with my mates at the moment, we are not serious and they know the game well enough. But there isn't much team work, just a laugh.
Sadly, I noticed this straight away. I dabbled in hacks in CSS years ago as a little side hobby. I never lied about it, and went on unprotected servers for my hacking fun.
Hacking in a normal protected server is NOT cool though, and it's **** easy to spot. Ruins the game Report them straight away. Takes 1 minute.

hmmmm, bad reports about the patch so far, not surprised in the slightest though, typical DICE, game will be fixed eventually..........
Macro cheats are nothing new, they were used in bf 3 as well (heck there was even a glitch/loadout bug that eliminated all recoil, bullet spread with the l85 iirc 
) and tons of games before that as well.
People who post showing of cheats are complete and utter idiots, just going to introduce even more cheaters, hopefully the people who go searching install some crappy free one and will get banned with the next punkbuster update.
It really puzzles me why people use the macro cheat, recoil is so easy to control in the game, takes like 5 minutes to learn and over time it will just come naturally.
Friend of mine even got a new mouse the other week that basically has it built in lol......

Placebo mate. You're aware of cheats so you start thinking people that kill you are hacking.
Also, why you would use a no recoil macro in a game with no recoil anyway is laughable.

After watching that invisibility knife video posted above, I really don't want to go looking for more videos, that would have such a negative impact on me. I don't care loosing, I don't care having bad games, I don't care of the outcome generally as long as I'm with the boyz having a crack then all is great. However, one thing that does **** me off, would be to know cheats are easily accessible to the masses, anyone that then kills me, I'd be thinking straight away they cheated. advertising said cheats is completely retarded, that's just going to increase the numbers that wouldn't think twice about doing it. And if its easy to do, then I'm sure the next step would be to do it. Not cool, not cool at all.
On a side note I have only seen 1 definite cheat in a game, 435-5 which is just so damn obvious. You see ppl killing 40 or 50 times a game which ok might look dodgy to most, but then for the accuser to call them cheaters just because they cant do it is where a ton of false hackusations come from. And of course, bad admins don't make matters worse when they can freely ban or kick people from their servers just because their team or they themselves are getting beaten badly. Just so much wrong with this game really.

Surprisingly I didn't get any hackusations last night when on with joe etc. went 55-0 and no rage or hackusations, disappointed!

****ing ******** servers that don't disclose they have a sniper limit until you join and then kill someone. THEN you get killed by admin for sniping. No way of finding out who is a sniper so don't know if you can sniper.

We have a sniper limit, it's in the name of the server and tells you when you join.
Type !snipers or !sniperx in chat to find out if there is a limit and how many lots are taken/free etc.
