Finally! IPS screens have pretty good motion clarity, not SWIFT good, but a nice improvement none the less, now where the hell are the ultra wide/21.9 versions!!!!!

EDIT: Actually, if anything, perhaps the IPS is better, since badass said there is no overshoot like you get with the rog switft

i went on paracel storm server other night and stulid was hiding inside the air craft carrier with the MAA... was funny to see on the deploy map screen hahahaa!

How much is that monitor? Considering that the ROG was something silly like £600, I'll be waiting until these become more affordable. I still don't like the blur in that screen though. I'm glad that 3D vision isn't supported if it means that the monitor is cheaper as there haven't been any significant gaming developments in that area since the Rift is superior.

IIRC the swift was about £800-900 when first released, which was an absolute rip of imo, much like the 34" 1440 screen by LG.

I think £690 is a pretty fair price since it seems to be the best screen "overall" atm, give it a month or two and I'm sure it will drop to about £600 though, also if we get a freesync version of it, it will/should be about £100-150 cheaper.

I can see the ROG swift dropping in price big time now.

Freesync is taking far too long!

I am mighty tempted by the samsung 34" VA screen but waiting for tftcentral's review of it first. I don't really fancy changing my GPU any time soon and I will probably want to stick with AMD anyway so I could be in for a long wait for 34" VA/IPS freesync 1440 screens

EDIT: Then again, AMD seem to have dropped the ball big time with regards to releasing drivers in a timely manner.......

You won't like predator since it has an Alien in it

I think I will be sticking with bf4 for the foreseeable future. There's very few games I'm interested in playing. Division being the only one that springs to mind. I'm not even holding much hope for that one as its bound to be borked upon release

Hmm think it was "The Destroyer" - had some dodgy camera work, dodgy fight scenes and dodgy wizard things. Lasted an hour before being chinned off. Had a 2 ** rating on Netflix, should have known.

Skylines looks great, like a remastered Sim City 4!

What time we all planning to be on tonight? I'll be about normal time, normal place.
