Looking really good Tony! :cool: I have just got my desk setup, didn't bother with the legs, just put the worktop on top of my current **** desk, sooooooooo much room, my screen now looks super tiny lol. Will return the legs and get £40 back so essentially a ew table has cost me £25 lol

Looks like the cinema plan is cancelled tonight so will be on if that is the case....

Aww that sucks about the cinema, but means Tonys W/L will be improved!

Just seen the pics Tony, gotta say that huge hunk of wood, gave me wood! Looks very nice.

and Josh, had a massive chubby putting on the oil, the 3rd coat this evening is going to really finish it off lovely.
 
Cinema - over priced ticket for naff seat with soggy popcorn and horrible heating.

BF4 - over priced game with comfy seat, salty rage and server wrecking.

Only an uber noob would chose the cinema option.

Yup, I am not fussed on the cinema (much rather sit at home and watch films) but have to go out every now and then!

Perhaps not as "cosy" looking but much prefer this now! Now all I need is a damn 34" monitor!!!

It is nice to have the speakers on the same level now, although think I might get a block of wood or something to raise them up a bit.

Going to move the table forward by about a cm so that I can hide the wires.

Unfortunately the keyboard wire isn't long enough so I can't route it behind the right speaker.

I wish I only had to worry about a couple wires, mine has more cable than a Google datacenter :(.

Looks good. Nice and clean. Are those speakers any good?

desk is looking good Nexus, Josh next lol. I like your red background, looks nice with the white leds shining on it. Where mine wall is white, it's a quite a bit brighter. I might have to paint the wall next lol

To my ears paired with the ASUS essence STX 2 sound card, yes, superb clarity! Especially when they were on offer for £45 iirc.... I think these are the new version of them. IMO you aren't going to anything better unless you are willing to spend about another £100+


haha Tony, do it! :D I love red, it gives the room a really warm cosy feeling and looks ace with the backlight, although mine is looking a bit faded now....





Cinema will be on either Friday or Sunday night now so shall be on tonight about 7/8 :D
