OK!

First up I tried 340.43, it works...kind of. You get an error on game launch saying to use 340.52 or later, but it allows you to run, but you get no KB&M input to the game.

Now trying 340.52 (the WHQL to 340.43 incidentally) and will report back!

Edit: So far so good on 340.52....

DX FIX FOR NVIDIA USERS!!

Ok I'm declaring this now fixed!

DDU and uninstall your current driver (I'd imagine something from the 347 branch)

Now go install 340.52 - this is the earliest known working Nvidia driver for Hardline, so slightly newer ones may also work!

Add the BFH.exe to the existing BF: Hardline profile in nvinspector (this may not be required but I did it for good measure)

Enjoy the game without crashing every 5 mins!!!
