I love das german build quality and attention to detail, silver efficiency isn't something to sniff at either. I have used their coolers and fans before but am yet to have the joy of a power supply!

First of all, I believe it would be fair to giveaway these be quiet! "Silvers" to those who have many posts and are here from beginnings but I won't mind if You choose/draw someone like me, "newb" if you want. :)
Of course, if that happens, I'll give everything to make very extensive and detailed review and not to dissapoint You and all readers!

I have a Gigabyte Odin Pro 550 W and it is great PSU but its platform is quite old so it would be very nice and "Earth Friendly" to have newer, more efficient PSU. Flat cables and potential (sry be quiet!, I'll have to check it myself to believe it :P) silence are another benefits.
I hoped 400 W variant is in game too because my PC hasn't high power consumption (G2030 and R7 250) but 500 W or 600 W means I'll have to upgrade something. It would be a shame not to use all power "Silvers" are able to provide. :)

I really believe that PSU is the most important component in PC so I am very delicate when I am buying or recommending new PSU. Delicate means I have to read at least 3 (usually 5 or more) detailed reviews, read user experiences and watch videos about it. So I will work hard to come with objective review containing all segments that will eventually help people to choose or not choose this PSU.

My EVGA RMA replacement died last week and it's being sent away tomorrow. I'd like to try another brand and would like to try Be-Quiet as I'm usually a Corsair man.

I got a semi modular PSU for my mini ITX build, wish it was fully modular. Quiet is always good too and I've never had any be quiet! products, so would like to try.

I've recently rejoined the PC Master race with a mini ITX build after about 10 years away and am still in the process of obsessively overclocking, tweaking and benchmarking, which I think puts me in a decent position to test things.

Having used a range of PSU, including basic units like Corsair CX PSU up to premium units like Seasonic Snowsilent PSU, I'm fairly certain that I am can give an independent and objective review on the PSU compared to other PSUs in the same price tag.

Plus I'm a loyal OcUK customer :D

The main purpose for my new PC is for Digital Audio Workstation work and Music Production. My current 'quiet' Enermax Galaxy 850w PSU is too loud for this and for my noise sensitive ears. It spoils an otherwise powerful and quiet system.
The modular design and flat cabling of the Pure Power 9 will keep my build tidy, efficient and look good under my nifty lighting :)

I'm a highly experienced Broadcast Sound Supervisor, specialising in live TV shows, with a client list of major Broadcast companies. I often find it difficult to find good reviews of 'quiet' equipment; people often misunderstand what decibels are and how they should be measured - though qualified, subjective opinions are always extremely welcome and helpful; eg. when people say things like - 'these fans measure as loud as the other fans but sound much less intrusive', or, 'in normal use these fans were inaudible'. I can offer you a professional subjective opinion on the sound/noise levels (if there is any that is audible) which should add an extra element to the reviews. (I could also do proper db measurements if it's appropriate, which I doubt, as you've already done them). I've also been a musician for over 40 years so have good ears.
My first computer was an Amiga 500 and I've been messing about with them ever since.

Will you write a review;

With pleasure. I can also include professionally recorded sound samples (using a £1,400 mic) if at all appropriate.

I'm planning on putting together a combined media-streaming/backup storage kinda thing for my lounge, so a super silent PSU like one of these would be a perfect start.

Why I want the PSU
I have had my current PSU for a long time, which isn't modular. This makes cable management a nightmare, and i'd love a modular PSU! I'm also at looking at upgrading to the new GTX 1080, and need a decent, stable PSU, like from be quiet! Another upgrade i'm looking at is a quiet case, and i'd need a quiet PSU as my current PSU is noisy as hell, and need a decent, quiet PSU.

I've always loved leaving reviews for items, and i'd love to review this item, i'd compare it against my current PSU and how it goes against my current GTX 970 and when I upgrade to the 1080 to see how it fares.

My HTPC power supply died not too long ago (which was noisy as hell) and I'm having to run it using a 15 year old brandless non modular PSU currently with cables all over the place (Even noisier and heats the whole room!)

I will give a unique perspective as somebody using it for audio engineering, weighing the benefits/effectiveness of the unit for an admittedly niche market that could benefit from using silent PSUs. ( it would also help with the next album:D)

I'm close to throwing my OcUK bought computer out of my window due to unexpected ridiculous PSU noise (rendering my Noctua NH-D14 redundant) but paying London rent I can't quite justify replacing a functional component... My quality of life would be vastly improved.

I'm the review equivalent of a leecher, despite reading reviews of everything I ever buy I haven't contributed to the ecosystem. Besides that I'm relatively verbose and have built a number of machines since my youth, including one that exploded due to a cheapo PSU.

I'd like to have the PSU since i'm building myself a new pc, and due to a tight-ish budget i'd like to have something with great price/performance ratio that would keep my system healthy without problems whatsoever. From what i've seen, be quiet! is one of the few brands that i can actually trust, and hopefully i'll be able to confirm that myself!

I'll test PSU for quietness, power efficient, and stability, running neural networks 24/6 with 64 bit precision floating point I'll know if it's stable. I'll even take some nice photos of the PSU with my light box before installation!

I want the PSU so I can run my GTX 970 and I7 2700k setup much more efficiently rather than the bronze PSU I have now, I like to do my bit for energy conservation and keeping my bills low as I game everyday!.

Well I've never reviewed a PSU before only a case so it will be a learning curve but as Glen8 who set the benchmark for replies said, I will also be browsing the net for accurate info to help me.
