I don't think the original track ever made it to a studio album, there was a 20 second "prelude" version of it on Brand New Day but it never really became known until he did the orchestral album Symphonicities. Personally I prefer the original studio recorded version. It has some of the most beautiful lyrics I've heard in a song, accompanied by a great melody. Yeah it's not mainstream, it'd never get to number 1 but I just think it's special.
