And as much as I enjoy watching them ("OH MA GOD!" will forever ring in my ears), some of those chair shots really do look brutal, no matter how flimsy the chairs might be. Can't really argue with them banning chair shots to the head these days I guess!

His match with Kurt Angle at King of the Ring was amazing, especially considering he was never actually considered a full time wrestler! :eek:

It might have been the same match where he leaped from one corner of the ring to the next and kicked a metal trash can in someone's face - incredible athleticism!

That was also the night Kurt wrestled three matches and broke his tailbone and Shane got cut up badly by glass that was the wrong type for that kind of stunt, landed on his neck/shoulders 3 times on solid concrete when the glass didn't brake as well as numerous other stunts in the match. Honetly Shane McMahon was as close to mental as you'd get to Mick Foley. I guess he did have the luxary of not having to wrestle week in week out though.
 
Decent developments on NXT this week:

Breeze vs Jushin Liger at Takeover.
Apollo Crews (formerly Uhaa Nation) debuting at Takeover
Balor vs Owens NXT Title match has been upgraded to a LADDER match! :D

Bayley beat Charlotte to get a shot a Becky Lynch for the #1 contender spot for the Womens Title :)

That'll do for this week :D
 

Jushin Thunder Liger sneaks into wresler's rooms while they sleep and tries to pin them. Amazing how years of instinct can train a body like that!

I loved it, it was great fun! I would love to have seen a huge swerve and have Randy Orton just out of nowhere grabbed Amell and hit him with the RKO and then Punt him! Then grab the mic and go "Pfffffft! Some Hero!" Then drop the mic and walk out! RAW would have exploded!
 
Although I've never seen Arrow, to be fair Amell looked pretty legit jumping onto the apron, jumping over the ropes and tackling Stardust! Also getting in Trips face was pretty cool.

Also NXT TakeOver Brooklyn sold out! 13k fans in the arena will be chaos, cannot wait for that :D
 
just watching the Monday night wars and heard Roddy Piper introduce The Undertaker for the first time and made me smile when he said "Look at the size of that ham hock!"

Can't wait for TakeOver: Brooklyn! It's shame (IMO) that Enzo & Big Cass won't be competing for the title (considering the location of the event), they're over as hell in Full Sail as it is! I have a funny feeling that they and the Hype Bros will lose to Jordan, Gable, Dash & Dawson :(

Ladder match should be hellacious (JR voice), and also looking forward to Breeze/Liger! :D
