The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

If they get too big, WWE will just buy them anyway.

Best thing TNA can do is stay around the same size they currently are.

I think Vince has learned his lesson in buying out his competition. Thats why they had the draft split to add some sort of brand wars. I remember Vince saying he missed the tension of trying to compete with wcw.

Fixed that for you.

RAW is all flash and no cash, at least SD has some decent talent to back it up. ;)

SD was always PG (or PG 13), Raw used to be PG 13 back in 97/98 before it went higher in the Attitude era - SD stayed PG 13 until both brands were moved to PG.

Forgot to say this earlier ...

I dislike how even the PPVs are more PG friendly now :( There is no reason why PPVs cannot be more adult oriented.

Because kids love buying John Cena merch.

And kids will still watch a 14 show, I'm 22 now, have been watching WWE/WWF/WCW since '98 when I was 11 - go figure.
A number of my friends watched WWF back then as well..

Most parents dont check what the rating of the show is, and you can have one kid friendly show and one for the adults - afterall kids do not buy PPVs the adults do.

No they can't, the only way to end a submission match is with a submission. Name one time a submission match has ended on a KO.

It happens in certain holds such as the Master Lock and the Undertaker's choke hold.

It wouldnt surprise me if any of the matches ended in things such as that, especially the Undertaker vs CM Punk

That was an I quit match though.

If a person is passed out then they are unable to submit as such the referee would stop the match and announce them as the loser.

Passing out in a submission hold constitutes a loss by knockout. To determine if a wrestler has passed out in WWE, the referee usually picks up and drops his hand. If it drops three consecutive times without the wrestler having the strength to stop it from falling, the wrestler is considered to have passed out. At one point this was largely ignored. However, the rule is now much more commonly observed for safety reasons. If the wrestler has passed out, the opponent then scores by submission.
