my god that ending promo was immense. A money promo and has me buying summerslam.
 
To be fair though, if Punk does indeed drop the title, it would be a damn shame.

Then if he goes on to face HHH and loses then the whole push will be over for him...

Who knows what they're going to do but Sunday could be interesting.

As for Rey, he faces the winner of the SSlam main event for the WWE title next week on Raw so he hasn't been written out just yet :rolleyes:
 
Getting bored saying Punk delivered an epic promo week after week but he did it again last night, brought the best out of Cena as well (5 moves of doom lol)

Cant wait for the ppv now, I'll riot (in my own house) if Punk loses
 
I'm thinking HHH screws Punk and pedigrees him or something, John Cena gets up (he was on the floor) and looks at Triple H and starts arguing with him, slowly Punk starts getting up and taps Cena on the shoulder and gives him the GTS. He pins him and Triple H slowly counts to three. He then raises Punk's hand but then spine busters him and holds the two titles himself.

Next week they will officially announce Rey is out injured so he cannot have his rematch and then we have a Triple H vs Punk feud. I don't know how many matches Triple H is willing to have though.


Anyway, even though they have only announced 4 matches for Summerslam. (5 if you include R-Truth vs JoMo although this hasn't actually been announced.) They have all been built well. I am willing to put myself through a Mark Henry and a Diva's match so it must be good!
 
I also expect Morrison and Truth to be added, as well as Alex Riley v Ziggler. Probably some in ring promo with the Miz and Del Rio about how they've been left off the card as well

Looks like the dude who said Big Show would be facing Diesel at Summerslam was completely making stuff up too. ;)

I don't know, I assume Vince is taking more of a back-seat role now. He is most likely still the one that confirms that everything can go but HHH probably has some power now. The company is bound to be left to him and Stephanie so he is probably slowly giving him more power.

Maybe they will actually keep these tag teams together after seeing what has happened now.

Punk is singlehandedly saving the WWE as everyone else is trying to destroy it. Seriously Trips, push off. We don't need you burying the lockerroom anymore, especially since you aren't even an active wrestler! Plus special ref implies something screwy is going to happen, which means... ugh, I don't even want to think. There's even a small part of me expecting him to somehow leave as the champion...
 
Any predictions for tomorrows event? I'm go with;

Cena beats Punk
Orton beats Christian
Kelly x2 beats Beth Phoenix
Sheamus beats Mark Henry

So as Punk would say back to the status-quo :(
 
I had to look at the wikipedia page to see what the other events were besides the main event :(

Orton beats Christian
Beth beats K2
HHH beats Cena and Punk
Sheamus beats Henry
Bryan beats Barrett
