The biggest dump you've see on Google Street View

a lot of the UK dumps have a lot of greenary around them and decent housing, the worst dumps are those with not a tree or field nearby and just packed with people imo.

don't know where in the world this is but takes some beating

That place is horrendous! It's amazing to think that the gap between rich and poor can be so big in a developed country.

Huge divide between rich and poor. That area in particular, (NJ) a few miles up the road, and you'll be in a very upscale neighbourhood that would be say like Hampsted Heath, with all little coffee shops and boutiques. Lots of white well to do ladies, walking the streets looking for things to spend their well to do husbands money on.. Go back down the road to the next suburb, and you'll be locking your car windows, cos everyone is sitting in their porches of their borded up homes, on a dirty old plastic chair, in their filthy wife beaters staring out onto the broken roads. It's quite an experience going for a drive around there !

Probably the roughest, most run down place I live within a mile of. It's not actually as bad as it used to be, and there are quite a few decent people I know who live on or very close to this street. God, looking at these images makes me actually quite proud of my neighbourhood.

Oh and 'FTM' stands for '**** the Matrix', which is a special Merseyside police unit that tackles violent crime I think. Nobody's ever seen them though.

This is where I used to live. :p Those houses have been empty for years. The burn marks on the ground is from the bonfires in July.

Also got this in the next street.

I can never understand why people would allow themselves to live in such a dump, when there's a whole country (even world) out there. It's not money either is it..Some of these dumps are not cheap, are they. I mean you get these people selling council flats in nasty tower blocks for a tidy amount and people still buy them. I knew someone who bought ex-council, when i'd go and visit him, you'd always meet a drunk in the concrete corridor, drinking a carlsberg special brew.. I just don't get it. Me personally, call me a snob if you must, but i want to live in the utmost upscale neighborhood that my money will take me too.

Most of them aren't too that bad. There's only so much you can do to make the exterior of your red brick terraced house look attractive.
