^^ ZOMG that's amazing, I'm too worried about mucking up my computer by patching the wrong files though so I'm stuck with normal windows 7
Are there any really easy guides to patch the windows themes or do they all expect you to have done it before?
All you need to duplicate that desktop is
Rainmeter with the two skins that Baked post and I'm gonna guess
Rocketdock again with the icons in the link posted, there's also objectdock that's the same thing.
For rainmeter, once installed theres a 'rainmeter' folder in my documents (well in xp it is, gotta be similar for windows 7 I would have thought) open the 'skins' folder and copy the extracted files from the zipped up file you downloaded in to there.
Then once rainmeter is running, right click on the raindrop icon in the system tray - configs - manage skins - browse - then click on the skin you want, at the bottom it should list all the skins for that particular config, click load skin and it should appear on your desktop.
Just do that with everything you want to show.
For rocketdock, in xp its under program files, not sure about windows 7, theres a icon folder that you will copy the download icons too.
Once the icons are in the folder, if rocketdock isnt already running, right click on an icon in the dock - icon settings - you should be able to then find the icons that you copied into the icons folder.
To add/remove icons from the dock, make sure the 'lock items' isnt ticked, you'll see that if you right click on the dock, just drag off icons you dont want and drag on icons you do want.
Theres also
stacks docklet for rocketdock, thats worth checking out imo.
That would be copied to the docklets folder in program files.
Then you would right click the dock - add item - stack docklet, that would then put a grey box in your dock.
If you make a folder and bung a load of shortcuts into it, say games for example and put that folder wherever you want, I have mine in the docklets folder in my programs so its all together. Then right click the grey icon in the dock - icon setting - click the three ... next to folder and find the folder that you've just made up, then change the icon, click ok. You should then be able to click that new icon and it will pop up and display all them shortcuts.
I'll stop rambling now.
