This one may come across as a totally rhetorical question, but here goes. Is there a point you should replace a clay bar?

I have never used one (never heard of one until I came in here) and dont obviously want to be using something if there is a point you should start replacing them and risk damaging my car or bike.

sorry if the question is stupid.

Yes, when it gets to the point you can no longer fold it to a clean piece. Been told they normally do 3-4 cars.

Also you're better to break it into smaller bits and then if you drop it you haven't lost the whole thing.

Good Idea.

Cheers. I will see what I can do this week end.

I only have a 12 year old fiesta but you gota Pee with the **** you have so might aswell keep it looking as good as I can.

Parents have a 58 plate Leon which has been whashed once since they got it back at the tail end of 08. Really bugs me when people can afford nice things they don't even look after them. Think I might go and do it for them, more so as I hate seeing cars getting into a state.

My New Snowfoam Lance :)

I need a proper foam lance finally, the one that comes with the Halfords does bugger and all.
Gave the new ride a proper polish earlier, no pics though :( (will get some tomorrow). Toyota have managed to make reverse fading red paint, instead of going lighter (more pink) when fading, it now goes darker when fading

Rex X

easy to clean

Gotta say I do like the look of these. I only hope there will be a performance model that possible either ditches the hybrid lump or up the power in some way :) My gut feeling is it wont really do either of those and will never do the CRX justice.

Might be a bit of a stupid question, but here goes. Is there really much difference between Megs ScratchX and SwirlX? I only ask because on another forum I saw someone use ScratX to get rid of swirls and scratches just fine?
