Could anyone tell me how I should be cleaning my, cleaning products?

My mitt and microfibre's could do with a bit of a refresh, can I just bung them in the washing machine on a low temp or are they going to fall apart?

Non-bio liquid (if the powder/tablet doesn't break down, you are not left with little bits of soap in the fibers), 40° and stick some distilled vinegar in where you'd put the fabric softener. Air dry.

I've got a to-die-for recipe for coconut macaroons as well.

Had the pleasure of correcting this stunning vehicle over the past 2 days. I'm knackered now!

The quality of the interior shocked me though for what is a £50,000 car. It's only two years old and the plastic on the steering wheel has faded/become spotty and the seat bolsters have worn quite badly. It's only got 11,000 miles on the clock too!

The sound alone gives me the horn though!

Oh ok, in which case yes, change the drying towel to the Azorb and get some of their Wheel Seal and Shine for your wheels, its awesome :)

Would that be your recommendation for sealing wheels over say SRP/EGP, which you've also mentioned ? You seem to have tried quite a lot of the products. I'm ideally looking for something relatively easy to apply (say one product, rather than two) that will last as long as possible, not too bothered if it isnt the absolutely deepish shine available, etc.

G-Techniq C5 is the absolute 'best' out there

It may seem 'pricey' but absolutely nothing touches this for durability on wheels - you will easily see 6 months or so.

If you want something 'better value' but easy to use, with great durability, then I'd recommend Collinite 845 Insulator Wax. It can be used on glass and paintwork too. You should see a good 2-3 months with this.

The Poorboys is decent enough, certainly better than the Chemical Guys product, but it tends to be gone after 4-6 weeks.

Good work Russ. Will be giving you a call in a month or so. (You detailed my Grey Focus ST, not sure if you remember). Ive just got a mk1 TT that could do with a going over once ive sorted a few other bits out on it first!

Yeah course I remember matey, was a pleasure working in that lovely garage of yours - not something I normally get the luxury of! Great bacon too :)

What happened to the Astra?

The Astra was just more of the same. Ive had so many front wheel drive hot hatches i just fancied a change. Sooooo 3.2 V6 TT it is lol.

I've not really got time to be layering sealant on the wheels - especially when doing the insides. To be honest, it never even occurred to me with the PBW stuff.

I'll give the Z2 a go before buying anything, then :)

Paul Dalton uses Z2, so it must be decent! Just get a very thin layer on, leave it for 30 mins then remove. Should last a good 3 months from a single layer.

Nice one! I quite fancy something like that next, but I need a decent boot :(

How is it? I may get an R32.

I love it tbh. I was concerned about the handling as id read a lot about TT's being numb, and understeer due to the big engine at the front end. However ive found it great. Feels a lot more planted, ive not found understeer an issue in the slightest.

Only thing id say is it doesnt "feel" that quick, the power delivery is just so smooth unlike the ST and Astra where it was all turbo shove so you had a sudden surge of power. The TT however you look at the speedo and realise just how quickly its climbing. DSG is brilliant as well only thing its missing is cruise control but that will be fitted shortly.
