yea i use the Autoglym polish as well. So if I want to polish i have to wax it after each time? dont like the idea of that on my mondeo.

Beautiful day for polishing, so it's time I did some. Results so far after one round of Super Resin Polish..

Received my £47 Nilfisk C110 3-5 pressure washer yesterday (which now is £51), cleaned my decking and all the patio furniture, was flat out for about 5 hours, great bit of kit.

Anyone recommend a snow lance / applicator that fits?

Does anyone know if a mild alkaline foam shampoo strips wax?

Reason I'm asking i purchased a jet wash with a foamer and was wondering if it was good enough to snow foam, so i bought some cherry snow foam.... Results was, it wasn't good enough and it seems i need to purchase a proper lance. But i noticed that after washing it off that water doesn't bead or sheet anymore.

Is this the reality of snow foaming or was my concentration too high? Or do i need a pH neutral foam...

Don't you have a job?

And how long have you had a bootlid spoiler?

If you get one, let me know which and how it is as I have the 110 as well so it would be handy :D

3M Duralock.

Perfect, do you use it on the front as well?

Seems like it might stick out a lot at the front, and not work too well with the curve?

Will be putting a private plate on mine soon, so very interested in this solution.

Why don't you come to the RR instead it is like 45mins away?

Good point well made.

If I'm honest I ignored the RR thread because I assumed it wouldn't be close to me; for some reason I thought it was up norf despite it clearly saying Guildford in the title.

The honest (quite sad) fact is that I've been looking forward to doing this clean for quite some time. I received and bought a lot of cleaning products for my birthday and this weekend is the first opportunity I've had to get out and do it.

So I'm selfishly passing up the opportunity to be sociable with you fine chaps in order to spend the weekend cleaning my girlfriend's car. I appreciate this is extremely poor form and I apologies but my mind is made up.

However, by the time the next RR comes around I should not only be able to attend but I should have also detailed the E60 so I'll turn up in some decent (shiny) metal. :p

I dont think there are words to describe not coming to a big car meet 40 minutes away so you can instead spend the entire weekend cleaning somebody elses Vauxhall Corsa :p
