Zaino Z-10.

not really, the foam will stick better to a dry car, and it will pull off that loose dirt anyway.

So then Foam again to remove the dirt the foam would otherwise remove under the top layer of dirt?

My experience is how I described before. On my paintwork anyway.

Need some advise people.

Looking to sell my VW Polo shortly and have been left with a fairly large scratch on my bumper (thanks to someone in a blue car who left me with this!).

Took a couple of photos so you can get an idea of the extent of the damage:

Just wondered what people feel would be the best solution to remove it?

t cut as much as possible then think about masking off and spraying it with a colour matched can and plenty of masking over the bits that wherent touched

even if its not perfect(it wont be) its going to look a load better than it does currently

Thanks mate.

Probably going to give this a go this week and if the results are good I'll post pics :p

What are Parkside pressure washers like? Lidl mailshot came in just now and noticed this possibly suitable for those who missed the £40 Nilfisk c110 £40 deal some years ago perhaps?

3 years warranty too. I'd expect it to be more reliable and true to 100 bar compared to the equipotential Karcher one though having seen a number of those die after a year~.

id look at some spraying guides if its something youve not done before. especially into the finishing with wet and dry and polish

as i say its never going to be perfect without a lot of practice but it should look better than it does and be slightly more appealing to any buyers

That is their paint on your car, you probably won't need to spray that. T-Cut may work as said but maybe try some metal polish (Autosol) as that will be more abrasive.

Right so i've just had the chance to clean my new weekend toy so it's a kind of "new car post" without doing a new thread and a cleaning one too.

Quick details, 2005 STi with DCCD, bought with 29k miles, 18" WR1 style alloys, Tein suspension etc. etc.

Been raining a lot so it's been looking like this most of the time...

Got the cleaning stuff out, fan of keeping it simple and using what works well, if it's good for Aston Martin it's good for me:D

I know that people use fancy buckets with grit guards and everything and i've gone down the same route but opted for a bucket that is of good size, wide opening, it's made by Dairy Prime and think it may become popular on DetailingWorld

And then finally the results after a wash and clay (still to polish and wax)
