What snow-foam is that Paradigm?

Seems very backwards to rinse a car bottom to top as you'll just need to go back over it again when you get to the top due to it all running down the car.

Been using Carplan triplewax, tryign to finish of the bottle before buying a decent shampoo.

But does this stuff strip away wax ?

And when I do buy decent shampoo, any recommendations ?

"Valet Pro PH Neutral Snow Foam".

The only problem I have with things like triplewax or turtle wax shampoo, is that I don't want a shampoo that adds a useless layer of rubbish wax over the top of my decent wax. I also find that they sud up far less than a shampoo without "wax" in it. They certainly shouldn't be stripping wax though, otherwise they'd be rather pointless as wax carrying shampoo ;)

As for decent, I keep coming back to recommending Zymol "Natural Concentrate" Auto Wash.

Washed mine yesterday for the first time with Chemical Guys No Touch snow foam and it worked a treat, much better than the Meguiar's Hyper Wash that I have been using for a few years now, almost no point in doing two bucket afterwards as I don't think there was any dirt left to clean off.

I then went over it with the first two parts of the Werkstat Acrylic Kit and it looks bloody brilliant!

Need to do another coat or so of the Jett Trigger to build up some more layers of protection before I use the final Glos Spray but I am very pleased with how easy it was to use.

Will post some pictures once I am done later in the week.

Also, thanks to the guys who recommended the Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover, a tiny drop on a cloth worked great.

Just because that's what it says to do on the snow-foam bottle.

Pretty sure it says to apply it bottom upwards, not rinse it......I've been using the valet snow foam for quite some time and it really does shift the poop. You can see it turn colour as it picks up the crud.

I'm looking for a new leather cleaner (happy with the conditioner but think the cleaner could be a tad more aggressive). Been using the Gliptone leather cleaner for ages and would like to try something else recommended

That makes more sense, and is how I apply mine.

Dr Leather - Not cheap, but certainly good!

thank you kind sir i will go on your recommendation

Best wheel cleaner in the world is Sonax Full Effect, followed by P21S. Expensive but the results are simply staggering.

I use Zaino Z-9 Leather Soft Cleaner followed by Z-10 Leather In A Bottle and have been very impressed with the results. It was recommended to me by one of the best detailers in the US and it hasn't disappointed.

It will, yes, but it won't foam up as much as a "decent" foam lance. I used to use one of those karcher bottles for a year or two, but got increasingly bored of the lack of "cling" that the foam would have.

Thanks. Very reasonably priced. I might pick one up.

Also, I'm looking to replace my old Halfords towel, and have been considering either a Chemical Guys Wooly Mammoth Drying Towel or Chemical Guys Beluga Drying Towel. Does anyone have any recommendations either way, or perhaps a suggestion for a different towel?

All I can say about towels is that I prefer my "CleanYourCar Huge Fluffy" towel to my Wooly Mammoth. The 'Mammoth tends to leave fibers all over the car, and never seems to soak up as much water as the CYC Fluffy.

Odd really, as the Mammoth looks, feels, and is certainly priced like the better of the two.

I would pat, I made the mistake of buying a brand new car in black and wiping leaves scratches as its always windy/breezy in this country, which invariably blows dust on the car, it only takes one particle to scratch the hell out of a car and it certainly shows on my car.

Pat all the way.
