hmmmm it makes sense, might have to get a bottle.....cheers dude

Are there any other two in one products?

Trix is pretty good if you have a well protected car and its just used to remove the fallout etc every few months to annually.

In reality the two products in separate form is the better option. I'd go for Iron-X and Tardis.

Well I just want it for pre clay bar'ing, then I'll put the autoglym super resin polish on and then extra gloss protection.

But I guess you are saying trix can then be used over the top of that from time to time?

Thanks

I'm just saying that Trix will help break down fallout but having the actual products in separate form (ie a bottle of iron-x and tardis) will do a better job at removing it.

Decided to lose my car waxing virginity last weekend. Turned out alright. Amazed by the funny patterns the rain now makes on it :D

Picked my car up last Saturday and as it's white and the weather has been miserable it's already got a good coat of brown dirt down the side.

Anyone know if the jet wash at Morrison's will do a good job of spraying it off?

Don't want to give the car a full clean until I can get some polish and wax next week but also don't want to leave it dirty.

Taken on a potato so doesn't do it justice.

Spent last weekend, after several months of neglect, washing, claying, hand polishing and waxing. Also did the inside. Now looking to address some scratches (Chipsaway) and paint correction if not too expensive.

Gave it a bit of tlc prior to the little road trip starting next week. Washed with megs soft wash gel, attacked with a clay mitt, polished with AF Tripple, then topped off with FK1000p. Used Iron X on wheels and AG glass polish for windows. Quite happy with it.

One thing I do hate about doing these big cleans is you notice every new scratch and car park caused dent. It's infuriating. Planning on having dents removed next month.

How do chaps

Looking for a little advice. I've got the urge to invest in a DA and give machine polishing a go. Now although I have spent hours trawling the Internet looking at tutorials, this will be my first time using a DA.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent kit? The link below is the kit I seem to think would suit my requirements best. Start off with some light correction with finer compound and move on with time.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Cheers guys.

I've been buying one since Christmas, suppose its about time I coughed up the cash.

Plus it should make light work of my hazed headlights after some wet and dry sanding.
