Clay bar or mitt will do the job. You could also use a good detailing fluid as lubricant.

Not really, just makes your life a lot easier. You can still use most 'fancy' products without a pressure washer, just not those that require immediate removal like Wet Coat etc.

A pressure washer is used for
1 - Snowfoam
2 - Ceramic Spray wax such as Gyeon Wet Coat. The instruction asks that after you spray it on, using a pressure washer to clean it off.
Until this year i seldom use a pressure washer but this last few times I have been using it, it takes 5 more mins to set up but i save the time in the actual 2 bucket step as it gets most of the grim off first. Plus it can clean the wheel arches much better and also in between the spokes in the wheels.

Well, the Saharan dust has already left it’s mark on my car. Just to add to the yellow layer of pollen. At least it is easier to wash off than the winter grime.
I noticed that. Cleaned the car on Thursday and it hasn't been driven since. This morning when I got in, a thin layer of yellow dust or pollen which gave the white bonnet almost a lime tint. Bloody car seems to get dirtier now, just sitting on the driveway, than it did doing 50 miles a day on the motorway.
I really need to get out and clean mine it's really starting to look grubby with the Saharan dust, bonfire ashes and building work dust on disused farm land.
Would this be ideal to clean the interior door trim and panels like shoe scuff marks etc.

Well, I have the autoglym 3 stage pressure wash system and a new snow foam lance for each. Plus new soft wheel brush and micro fibre wash pad. Good to go!

Shaving foamMagifoam is best on the market imho.
i will have to try a bottle of magifoam. What sort of mix do you use?
I use the autobrite lance, stick 1-1.5 inches in the bottom and top up with warm water. Set the lance to maximum foam mode and use half a bottle on a car.

Where did you get it from?
5m isn’t quite long enough but when I looked they were quite pricey.
What foam bottle do you use? One that came with your pressure washer?

Rubbish when I used it, but this was several years ago. Water would have achieved the same result.

Amazon, around £18 I think. Missed out on the last stock though, but there are some other websites that offer it at a similar price. 5m is too short.
